Meet the job
You will carry your own sales quota within the LATAM sales team and deliver digital banking transformation opportunities with
net-new customers, adding to a growing list of active Backbase customers. Based on your quota you will set objectives and plan
accordingly to achieve targets. Backbase is expanding and there is no doubt that we have the best solution in our niche market.
Being a Sr. Sales Executive at Backbase is an exciting and challenging role. This is an ideal position if you have 10+ years of
successful sales and closing experience, with focus on building relationships and creating opportunities with new customers. Your
professional DNA is that of a highly influential advisor with a focus on enterprise SaaS software in Financial Services. This
position offers you to work in a flexible, no-nonsense, informal and fast-paced working environment, enabling and empowering you
to grow as a sales professional. In this position you will report directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales.
Finally, you build close relationships with your customers to understand their business drivers and understand how to establish
buy-in at all levels (sales management, delivery leads and senior/executive management). You will identify and qualify new
enterprise software sales opportunities with Banking and Financial Service customers and effectively run a sales cycle to reach
and exceed your goals.

How about you
● This is a quota carrying role in which you will identify and close opportunities for Backbase business primarily with net-new
customer accounts and secondary opportunity to expand existing customer relationships;
● Managing and closing large software agreements ($1M+ ARR);
● Forecasting and managing net-new opportunities from identification to close;
● Leading customers to have value-focused digital banking strategies;
● Establishing a trusted advisor role with banking and financial institution customers;
● Aggregating and collecting requirements from customers and craft the business case for investments in digital banking
transformation;
● Supporting Backbase's goal of building digital banking leadership;
● Other activities as required to fulfill the business objectives.
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
● 8-10+ years experience in a quota carrying role;
● Track record of exceeding quota;
● 5+ years experience in digital banking;
● Ability to reverse engineer business objectives to reach your goals;
● Eagerness to figure out tough problems for your customers.

SENIOR ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE Smartly is looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to help accelerate our growth in Mexico. Based in Mexico City, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding Smartly's commercial presence by partnering with enterprise brands, agencies, and advertisers. This is an opportunity to build a market from the ground up, combining strategic business development with consultative selling to bring Smartly's AI-powered advertising platform to some of Mexico's largest and most innovative organizations. WHAT YOU WILL DO * Build and grow Smartly's enterprise business in Mexico by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with leading brands and advertisers. * Develop and execute territory and account strategies to establish Smartly's presence in a growing market with significant expansion potential. * Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, marketing-generated opportunities, and collaboration with Sales Development Representatives. * Lead consultative sales cycles, including discovery, solution presentations, product demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and contract execution. * Partner with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to deliver a seamless customer experience from initial engagement through onboarding. * Collaborate with the Head of Sales to refine go-to-market strategies, identify priority verticals, strengthen agency partnerships, and share market insights. * Represent Smartly at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen relationships and increase brand awareness within the Mexican advertising ecosystem. * Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and account plans while consistently working toward quarterly and annual revenue goals. * Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and serve as a strategic advisor on digital advertising, creative automation, and performance marketing. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Strong experience in enterprise SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, digital marketing technology, or media sales, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets. * Experience developing new markets or expanding commercial operations, ideally within Mexico or other emerging markets. * Deep understanding of the Mexican digital advertising ecosystem, including advertisers, agencies, media groups, and enterprise buying processes. * Established relationships with senior decision-makers across enterprise brands, agencies, or holding companies are highly desirable. * Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and close. * Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences ranging from practitioners to C-level executives. * Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English. * Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment where new processes and market strategies continue to evolve. * Willingness to travel within Mexico and across the region to support customer meetings, conferences, and industry events. HEAD OF SALES - LATAM Smartly is looking for a Head of Sales - LATAM to lead commercial growth across Mexico and Spanish-speaking LATAM markets. This role combines regional sales leadership with direct enterprise selling, helping expand Smartly’s presence among some of the world’s leading advertisers and agencies. This role will involve working in close cooperation with sales counterparts from our partner base in the region to identify and qualify new regional sales opportunities and manage the pipeline. Day-to-day you will maintain the relationship between Backbase and prospects throughout the buying cycle while working closely together with our value consultants to build business cases and value stories, but also with our pre-sales experts on RFPs, deep dives, pitches and POCs.
