Role Overview
We're hiring our first in-house Controller to own accounting and build the financial backbone of F2. Partnering with our
outsourced accounting team, you'll run a clean, timely close and take full ownership of our accounting systems, controls, and
reporting as we scale.
This is an operator's seat, not a caretaker's. You'll design a scalable accounting and controls process from the ground up —
leveraging AI and modern tooling to keep the function lean as we grow — while also supporting FP&A and budgeting. It's the right
role for someone who has built accounting infrastructure in a high-growth startup, is energized by AI-native finance tools, and
wants a clear path to grow into an accounting and finance leadership role.

THE TEAM YOU'LL BE JOINING AND IMPACT YOU'LL HAVE * You'll join a high-velocity sales and customer success org that has grown 5x in the last 12 months and is scaling fast - our customers consistently expand their usage, with 160%+ NRR within 12 months. * You'll work alongside a tight-knit account management team, taking responsibility for a real book of business from day one - accounts are handed to you because the team is oversubscribed, not to fill a quota. * You'll sit at the intersection of commercial and technical, acting as the bridge between customers and our Solutions Engineers - freeing SEs to focus on building, while you manage adoption and growth. * This is a foundational hire that will shape what the AM function looks like as we scale ARR - with a clear path to a leadership role for the right person. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING FROM DAY ONE: * Own a book of business with a clear expansion target - you'll be expected to drive NRR of 140%+ by identifying new use cases, upselling into departments, and keeping customers deeply engaged with the platform. * Run onboarding and enablement with minimal support - you'll get customers live, train end users, and drive adoption across accounts without needing to lean on Solutions Engineers for every step. * Build and present AI agents to customers - demonstrating new workflows, pitching use cases, and showing stakeholders how to get more value from V7 in ways that make sense to their teams. * Partner with AEs and SEs to ensure a smooth post-sale handoff and flag expansion opportunities - you'll be a key voice in shaping how we serve and grow enterprise accounts. WHO YOU ARE * You're genuinely technical and commercial. You don't need to write production Python, but you can build an AI agent end to end, understand when to use different LLMs, and get hands-on with a platform quickly without much hand-holding. * You've managed customer relationships in a SaaS environment and you know the difference between keeping a customer happy and actually growing an account… You're motivated by expansion, not just retention. * You thrive in environments where the playbook doesn't exist yet or you've come from a startup or a fast-moving scaleup and you don't wait to be told what to do. * You're a strong communicator who can hold a room; whether you're onboarding a 30-person team, presenting a new agent workflow to a VP, or having a commercial negotiation, you show up with clarity and confidence. THE TEAM YOU’LL BE JOINING AND THE IMPACT YOU’LL HAVE You’ll be joining our growing GTM team as a Business Development Representative, working closely with Account Executives to drive new logo acquisition and pipeline growth. This is a true “hunter” role. You’ll have ownership over your territory and target accounts, with the autonomy to decide who to pursue and how. You’ll play a critical role in expanding V7’s footprint across key markets, while building deep knowledge of the AI landscape and how leading organisations adopt AI in practice. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING FROM DAY ONE * Owning account planning and territory strategy, identifying and prioritising high-potential prospects. * Driving outbound activity through a mix of cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and email to start meaningful conversations. * Handling inbound leads efficiently while maintaining a strong outbound cadence. * Working closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and strong collaboration on target accounts. * Staying up to date on AI trends and industry developments to engage prospects with relevant, informed insights. * Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives as the GTM motion continues to evolve. * Maintaining rigorous CRM hygiene and disciplined pipeline management. WHO YOU ARE * An ambitious BDR with experience in high-growth startup, scale-up, or hyper-growth environments. * Experience in sales or business development within a SaaS company. * Confident communicator with strong listening and writing skills, comfortable engaging technical senior stakeholders (CTO, CIO, CDO). * A self-starter with a strong track record of overachievement and resilience in outbound-heavy roles. * Deeply pipeline-driven - you live and breathe pipeline generation and understand its impact on revenue. * Highly organised, disciplined in your processes, and meticulous about CRM usage and prioritisation. * Excited by AI and motivated to build expertise in a fast-moving, technical space V7 champions equality and inclusion because diverse teams build better products. THE TEAM YOU'LL BE JOINING AND THE IMPACT YOU'LL HAVE * You'll join our go-to-market team as our second Solutions Engineer in New York (the team is 3 people), sitting right at the front of the sales cycle in a company processing tens of millions of documents for customers across finance, insurance, and real estate. * You'll be the technical partner to our Account Executives, the person who turns a promising conversation into a bought-in technical champion and a closed deal. * V7 Go 4x-ed revenue last year, with 160%+ upsell into accounts. You'll help accelerate that by winning the technical evaluation on every deal you touch. * We run a lean, high-trust team where you'll work directly with AEs, engineers, and product to move complex deals over the line. * Your work directly shapes how enterprises experience agentic AI for the first time and how quickly they believe in it. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING FROM DAY ONE * Partner with Account Executives across the sales cycle: lead technical discovery, run demos tailored to each buyer, and shape the technical win strategy on every deal. * Own proofs of concept end to end, from scoping success criteria with the customer through to building the prototype in V7 Go and presenting results back to technical and business stakeholders. * Handle technical qualification, objection handling, and security or architecture questions that come up during evaluation, and respond to RFPs where needed. * Build working prototypes with prompt engineering, data pipelines, and integrations to prove out real customer use cases during the sales process. * Be the trusted technical voice in the room, translating a customer's problem into a clear solution vision that maps to business value. * Feed patterns and objections from live deals back to product and engineering so we sharpen both the product and the pitch. WHO YOU ARE * You have presales or sales engineering experience, ideally selling technical products into enterprise, and you know how to win a technical evaluation. * You are comfortable owning the technical side of a deal alongside an AE: discovery, demos, POCs, and the stakeholder management that comes with a complex sales cycle. * You are a prototyper at heart with a gift for talking to customers, building relationships, and solving technical problems quickly and repeatably. * You love coding with Python. * You have experience delivering Large Language Model projects with customers, including LLM API integration, up-to-speed knowledge of foundation models, solutions design and architecture, prompt engineering, and/or measuring AI accuracy. * You can develop and articulate an AI solution vision to technical and business stakeholders, matching the value proposition to business needs.
