The Role… This is an exciting time to be joining our customer service team which we call the Soho Support Team (SST), with new house openings across The Americas. As such, the Coordinator will report into the Soho Support Manager for Membership, and will be responsible for delivering a first class service to our members throughout The Americas, whilst adhering to departmental SLA’s. This role has great growth potential for the right candidate and would suit someone passionate about delivering a great customer experience. Main Duties... * To be an enthusiastic first point of contact for Soho House member queries via telephone and email. Responding to these queries in a timely manner and adhering to the departments SLA’s. * Offering a pro-active service to our diverse membership through telephone and email. Duties including but not limited to membership administration and club and restaurant enquiries. * Use our Salesforce, GEM and Open Table database to create, look up and update records for current and potential members.- bookings * Set up new member and member renewal payments via credit card, Direct Debit, ACH and the occasional bank transfer payment, ensuring all transactions are handled accurately and as per company/legal guidelines. * You will be part of a team responsible for the general administration of The Americas houses (and future house openings). Along with table reservations and event queries for US properties. * Responsibility for amending, pausing, transferring and upgrading memberships, ensuring compliance with the appropriate Terms & Conditions. * Supporting other departments with information requests etc. * Plus any ad-hoc projects given by the Head of Support / Soho Support Manager * Performs all other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor Requirements / Qualifications... * At least one year of customer facing experience, preferably in a membership environment. * Experience in working to personal and departmental targets, SLA and KPIs * An enthusiasm for providing first class customer service is a must. * Experience of working with Salesforce/ CRM System and Open Table. * Experience of communicating in a friendly but professional manner in fluent English. * Experience of working in a fast-paced team environment. * Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English. * Will have a passion for customer service and enjoy elevating the customers' experience through knowledge, empathy and attention to detail. * You will have a professional telephone manner and strong written correspondence skills. * IT proficiency including Microsoft Office packages and accuracy in data entry with excellent attention to detail. * Highly motivated, adaptable and able to demonstrate a willingness to learn & progress. The role… At Soho House, the Head of People will oversee the team that is responsible for the employees in our regional based properties and support function. As the Head of People, you will report to and work closely with our VP of Operations and the Managing Director. The individual in this role will serve as the directors’ strategic partner, leading all aspects of P&D management, enhancing the people infrastructure to support the company’s substantial growth. This position also requires a specific focus on further developing the culture and values of the company. Therefore, a high EQ, a desire to foster a culture of collaboration, hard work and a passion for excellence is a must. The Head of People must be trusted by the employees and respected by leadership, with an ability to stimulate a strong innovative culture while ensuring Soho House & Co. teams are aligned to the strategic objectives of the business. The role will require balancing between long-term investment in company culture along with short and long-term business goals. The Head of People must be a passionate leader who will inspire the current HR team and educate, advise and influence business leaders. Main Duties… * Oversee the People strategy and lead a broad range of initiatives for current and new Houses and public restaurants while partnering closely with the VP of Operations and General Managers * Translate business plans into a strategic human resource strategy that is consistent with the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the company * Effectively lead key initiatives across departments including staffing, performance and talent management, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, diversity, recruitment, and training * Drive a culture that embodies Soho House’s leadership principles, which promote and reward high performance throughout the organization * Ensure a consistent work culture that scales as Soho House grows and contribute to an infrastructure that can manage the changes * Build strong relationships throughout the operations and continue to improve the level of trust and transparency across all levels and functions * Cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages partnership among the team and across the broader HR organization * Effectively partner with business leaders and the North America People Director on organizational design, competency models, leadership development, employee engagement and retention, performance criteria and measurement, succession planning, talent reviews and change management * Provide coaching to business leaders, offering feedback and advice on employee and organizational issues * Lead a team of Miami based HR Managers and oversee team management including but not limited to recruitment, on-boarding, training, career development, performance management, and coaching. * Partner with the Recruiting team to optimize and scale the process for recruiting transformational talent, including team structure, candidate evaluation processes, interview best practices, candidate follow-up, recruiting KPIs, and continuous improvement to accelerate the growth strategy * Partner with Learning & Development to evolve development programs that prepare employees for more significant responsibilities as the company executes its growth strategy while ensuring the development of the next generation of leaders Required Skills/Qualifications: * A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in situations requiring change and evolution * Held a senior leadership role for an organisation or business of similar scale * Experience managing a team * Breadth of experience across the entire HR function * Fluency across a variety of HR disciplines, including organisational development, leadership and talent development, HR process design and HRIS, compensation management, HR administration, diversity and inclusion * Proven impact on a company’s culture * Proven success as the “champion of the culture,” facilitating excellent communication and employee engagement across a global and diverse organisation * Experience presenting concise, thoughtful, analytical presentations to leadership * Ideally has held an HR or Senior leadership role for a geographically dispersed workforce. Scope of the Job At Soho House an Executive Chef is responsible for planning, organizing and leading the Kitchen Department according to company, local and regional policies as well as standards. The Executive Chef is involved in all facets of the business but is extremely operational and not adverse to being on the line and managing expo and ticket times. In this role, the Executive Chef encompasses strong business acumen works well under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environments. In addition to managing large teams, seasonal menus and events. Responsible for preparing and maintaining the kitchen budget in conjunction with the General Manager and Head Chef, North America as well as assuring the highest standards for health, sanitation and safety standards necessary in food handling and overall cleanliness. A successful Executive Chef leads a successful team and owns the overall kitchen budget as well as implements innovative systems to increase revenue streams. Key measurables for this can be determined by analyzing labor, food cost, quality of product, consistency and recipe management / development. Key Responsibilities * Influential leader and operational Chef with proven experience that delivers effective and efficient Culinary Programs, team management and profit driving dining experience(s) * Oversee Back of House (BOH) operation (Pastry, Production, Pizza, Pasta and Specialty Cooks) team including but not limited to recruitment, on-boarding, training, payroll and disciplinary procedures. As well as staff performance, conducting appraisals and strategize with leadership to assess staff performance and development while maintaining professional relationships * Adhere to health and safety policy (I.e. IIPP, worker’s comp procedures, and allergy procedures) is always followed as well as implement, monitor and enforce compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable * Delegate tasks to team and complete daily check lists that support anticipated business levels, production, a-la-carte orders, special request, events, dietary restrictions and ensure team follows proper allergy procedure * Responsible for educating and training staff on safe work habits and proper process as well as procedure if encountered with a dangerous or unsafe situation * Create, implement and enforce process to run an effective and efficient kitchen while maintaining the highest-level of standards, food quality, COGS and minimized margins to increase profits without sacrificing taste or member / guest experience * Purchase and produce top-quality food to create seasonal menus, maintain recipes, pictures and specifications are followed as well as update signage and displays for dates, food displays for quality, cleanliness and food safety * Ensure teamwork and synergy exists between the front and back of house staff through proper communication and delegate tasks and staff tasks to ensure smooth service and kitchen operations * Collaborate with Marketing/Events department on menu creation, food preparation, food costs, quality food service and product are delivered. * Shares the overall responsibility of proper storing procedures, food orders, food cost, equipment, sanitation and hygiene to Company and local standards * Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Experience Required * Minimum of 7-10+ years’ experience working in a similar volume-based business * Culinary-trained and professional who is passionate and curious to develop and grow as a Chef * Experienced managing P&L’s, labor, purchasing, vendors and quality control while providing results in revenue * Must possess consistent and stable work experience & encompass the desire to operationally support the business as an individual contributor and leader * Must encompass Food Serve Safe certification and have experienced with local sanitation regulations * Well-versed and timely email etiquette as well as written and verbal communication * Experienced in training, leading and executive production and a-la-carte dining experiences * High school diploma or equivalent trade school certification Physical Requirements * Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands * Must be able to work on your feet for at least 10 hours * Fast-paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others * Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift of up to 50 pounds on occasion and 35 pounds regularly * Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water. * Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
