Quartr is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our New York office. The
SDR team plays a critical role in driving the company's growth by generating and qualifying new business opportunities. We're

As an Inbound Sales Development Representative, you'll be a core growth engine for Quartr, responsible for turning interest in our products into a qualified pipeline for our Account Executives. This role is primarily focused on inbound lead qualification and follow-up, while also supporting marketing-driven initiatives and building lead lists for our outbound SDRs. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Respond to inbound leads from channels such as the website, marketing campaigns, events, and referrals * Qualify inbound prospects using established criteria (company fit, role, use case, timing, etc.) * Run short discovery conversations over the phone to understand prospect needs, challenges, and goals * Schedule and set up meetings for Account Executives with well-qualified prospects * Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and sales-related initiatives, including providing feedback on lead quality and messaging * Support the outbound SDR team by building and enriching lead lists for key segments and named accounts * Run light outbound (email / LinkedIn, limited cold calling) to warm or high-intent targets tied to campaigns * Maintain clean, accurate CRM data for all activities, leads, and opportunities * Continuously learn about Quartr's products, our ideal customer profiles, industry trends, and the competitive landscape WHO YOU ARE * You have experience in a customer-facing role (sales, support, customer success, retail, or similar) * You have strong communication skills and the ability to hold clear, concise conversations with prospects * You're comfortable working an inbound queue with urgency and discipline (SLAs, follow-up cadences, etc.) * You have a process-oriented mindset and respect CRM hygiene and structured qualification approaches * You have analytical thinking and the ability to use data (conversion rates, activity metrics, funnel stages) to prioritize and improve * You have an ownership mentality and take responsibility for your pipeline and outcomes, not just activities * You're adaptable and open to new tools, processes, and ways of working * You're fluent in English, both written and verbal * Previous SDR / BDR / business development experience is a strong plus * Interest or experience in finance or capital markets is a big plus WHAT WE OFFER * Do your life's work: The world's leading finance professionals use Quartr daily. As an Account Executive, you'll be a founding member of our New York team, responsible for driving net-new revenue growth for Quartr Pro – the leading platform for qualitative public market research. This role is focused on managing the full sales cycle with an entrepreneurial mindset, selling a product that the world's top firms rely on to make better investment decisions faster. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Focus on net-new logo acquisition through outbound strategies and pipeline management * Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, including discovery, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing * Collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to drive top-of-funnel activity and optimize lead handovers * Articulate the value of Quartr Pro to C-level executives and sophisticated investment professionals * Take full ownership of your territory and projects, moving with urgency to grab market share in a multi-billion-dollar industry * Maintain clear, accurate CRM data to forecast revenue and track performance * Continuously learn about the financial landscape to effectively communicate with professional personas WHO YOU ARE * You have a minimum of 1-2 years of full-cycle closing experience in B2B SaaS (experience within financial services is a strong plus) * You have a proven track record of exceeding targets and possess a "never-give-up" attitude * You have strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with C-level executives and professional personas * You're self-driven, proactive, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit suited for a high-growth, foundational team environment * You have an international mindset and the resilience to thrive in a high-paced, collaborative culture * You have a willingness to learn and strive for constant improvement * You're fluent in English, both written and verbal * Interest or experience in finance or capital markets is a big plus WHAT WE OFFER * Do your life's work: The world's leading finance professionals use Quartr daily. About The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mid-Market Account Executive to join our fast-growing sales team. This is a critical role in driving our company's growth, and you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and revenue. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach. What you will do in this role: * Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the target market of companies above 300 employee size across various industries. * Execute multithreading, utilizing diverse channels such as cold calling, strategic email campaigns, social selling and networking. * Run effective and high quality discovery calls with prospects to identify the root cause of process challenges and quantify the impact. * Qualify leads and conduct thorough research to understand prospects' business needs, challenges, and pain points. * Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations with senior executives to showcase the Payhawk value proposition. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target organisations. * Proactively manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to the account management team. * Consistently exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities using our CRM system, Salesforce.
