ABOUT DEDALE: Dedale is the differentiating source of strategic intelligence in the technology space. OUR CULTURE: Dedale gathers a group of highly talented international individuals (incl. US, Chinese, Filipino, French, Moroccan, Latvian, Lebanese nationalities among others). The leadership team is composed of experienced investment professionals & management consultants (ex-McKinsey, BCG Project Leaders & managers). Our advisory board is extremely high profile, including some of the most successful investors worldwide (incl. Managing Partners of the largest PE and Growth Equity funds, and Tech unicorn entrepreneurs). We seek to develop a dream team of outstanding investment analysts with strong academic and professional achievements and a passion for investing and technology. YOUR OPPORTUNITY: Dedale is building a Talent Intelligence practice from the ground up, and we are looking for a driven, intellectually curious professional to be one of its first team members. You will join the Head of Talent Intelligence at the earliest stage of the practice. That means real exposure, real responsibility, and the chance to leave your mark on something that does not yet exist in its final form. Behind you, you will have the full weight of an established intelligence platform and an active network of 100+ leading PE funds, M&A advisors, and corporates — sponsors who already trust Dedale's research and are looking to deepen that relationship into talent. YOUR ROLE: 1.Senior Advisor/Board Member/Executive Search Mandate kick-off & search strategy: * Join mandate kick-offs alongside the Head of Talent Intelligence and the sponsoring PE partner or fund MD. * Help translate the sponsor's brief into a structured search strategy: define the ideal profile, map the relevant target universe, and flag positioning angles that will make the mandate land credibly with senior candidates. 2.Research & sourcing direction: * Own the research backbone of each mandate. Build a clear, prioritized target landscape — by company, sector, and geography — and translate it into actionable sourcing briefs for the Expert Data Excellence (EDE) team. * Act as the day-to-day point of contact for EDE, providing direction, refining the longlist in real time, and escalating quality or coverage issues as the search progresses. 3.Candidate screening & assessment: * Take ownership of the candidate pipeline as profiles are surfaced by the internal sourcing team. * Screen and qualify candidates against the mandate's selection criteria — assessing background, seniority, sector fit, and availability. * Present a curated, well-argued shortlist to the Head of Talent Intelligence, with a clear rationale for each profile's inclusion or exclusion. 4.Sponsor-facing reporting & stakeholder management * Own senior stakeholder discussions with PE partners and fund MDs — preparing progress updates, presenting candidate slates, and facilitating feedback conversations. * Translate search activity into a clear, confident narrative that allows sponsors to calibrate their expectations and provide timely feedback on who is progressing and where the gaps are. 5.Practice building & data * Support the Head of Talent Intelligence in structuring the practice from the ground up — contributing to methodology design, process documentation, and ways of working as the team takes shape. * Play an active role in the data vision of the practice, helping to build and maintain the people intelligence layer that will underpin Dedale's long-term Talent Intelligence asset. YOUR PROFILE: * 2–4 years of experience in executive search, talent intelligence, or advisory sourcing * Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with senior professionals — able to approach, qualify, and build rapport with executives and board-level candidates in a structured, professional manner * Experience running searches or research mandates end-to-end, from profile definition through to candidate assessment and presentation * Strong research and analytical instincts — comfortable mapping markets, building target universes, and synthesising information into clear, actionable outputs * Structured and rigorous, with the ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously without losing attention to detail or momentum * Energised by early-stage environments — comfortable operating with limited playbook and contributing to building processes as the practice takes shape * Fluent in English, French and other European languages a strong plus CHERRY ON THE CAKE: * You like collaborating as a team and delivering your best as an individual * You are passionate about technology, innovation, and investment RECRUITMENT PROCESS: * Introductory call with our Head of HR * Pre-case with our Senior VP * 1 Case Study * Final on-site interview with Managing Director, CEO, and coffee chat with the team

Datadog (NASDAQ: DDOG) is looking for a Product Strategy and Corporate Development Lead to drive Product vision, M&A, and venture investments for Datadog. You will work directly with Datadog's founders, partnering with Datadog's global engineering and product leaders to identify and execute transactions that expand our platform into new markets. This is not a traditional Corp Dev seat. You will operate on a small, high-autonomy team where technical depth matters as much as deal execution. You can expect to focus on the EMEA landscape, which is one of the most dynamic ecosystems in enterprise software right now, and you will be at the center of it. At the same time, you'll be working with our Product and Engineering leaders based in Europe, who will depend on you to be the fabric between our NYC and Paris HQs. Together, you'll be expected to go deep and autonomously explore new areas of expansion for us. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You’ll Do: (Describe role responsibilities here) * Be close to our Product & Engineering leaders to discover new areas of interest and acceleration before an M&A target is even identified, and stay ahead of market trends in AI/ML, observability, security, and cloud infrastructure to inform Datadog's growth strategy * Identify and evaluate M&A targets and venture investment opportunities across European markets, with a focus on AI-native and infrastructure companies * Build deep relationships with founders, VCs, and accelerators across the Paris, London, and Iberian ecosystems to generate proprietary deal flow * Lead end-to-end due diligence: technical product assessments, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and integration planning * Partner with senior engineering and product leaders to assess technical architectures, product fit, and team quality of target companies * Negotiate and close complex transactions, including acquisitions, investments, and hyperscaler partnerships, and develop strategic recommendations to present to senior leadership including the CEO Who You Are: (Describe role qualifications here) * 3-7 years of experience in corporate development, venture capital, engineering, or product management at a high-growth technology company * Demonstrated technical depth: you can analyze a product deeply (how it would relate to ours and develop a working understanding of the architecture), and engage credibly with Product and Engineering leaders. This may come from a CS/engineering degree, prior engineering experience, or deep AI/infrastructure investing experience * Strong AI literacy: you actively use AI tools in your daily work, can speak to current trends in AI/ML infrastructure, and can evaluate the technical merit of AI-native companies * Experience covering or operating within European tech markets (Paris, London, and/or Iberia strongly preferred); background at an AI-native company (e.g., building or investing in AI infrastructure, LLM tooling, or applied AI) is a strong plus * Self-starter who thrives with high autonomy and limited oversight in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with a track record of sourcing proprietary opportunities through personal networks * Capable of engaging senior stakeholders, from startup founders to Datadog's C-suite, with credibility and confidence; genuine curiosity about what makes a company's technology defensible, not just its market position Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply. Benefits and Growth: (Describe opportunities offered here) * Generous and competitive global benefits * New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan * Continuous career development and pathing opportunities * Product training to develop deep understanding of Datadog's platform * Internal mentor and buddy program * Friendly and inclusive workplace culture Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Datadog: Datadog is the leading observability and security platform for the AI era, providing businesses with unified visibility across the technology stack to manage complexity at scale.
