Join the team as our next Field Marketing Manager in Japan
About the job
As the Field Marketing Manager for Japan, you will report to Twilio's VP of Marketing, APJ, and own the end-to-end field marketing
motion for one of our most strategically important growth markets in the region. You will be responsible for designing and
executing a brand-to-revenue GTM strategy that spans the full funnel, from building market presence and brand credibility through
PR and executive engagement, through to driving pipeline creation, acceleration, and deal closure in close partnership with our
Japan sales team.
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role suited to an experienced field marketer who is equally comfortable shaping strategy and
rolling up their sleeves to execute. You will have access to central regional resources, specialist agencies, and the APJ Demand

The Opportunity
Japan is a market that rewards precision, nuance, and cultural intelligence. In this role, your impact will go far beyond campaign
execution. You will have the opportunity to deeply understand the Japanese enterprise buying journey, build high-trust
relationships with sales leadership and key partners, and apply your commercial acumen to directly connect marketing activity to
pipeline and revenue outcomes.
You will lead the Japan field marketing function across the full Brand-to-Revenue spectrum: building brand awareness and thought
leadership, generating and nurturing demand, accelerating opportunities through targeted pipeline programs, and partnering closely
with SDRs and Account Executives to support deal progression through to close. You will also be a critical link between the Japan
GTM team and Twilio's regional and global marketing functions, ensuring Japan's needs are represented and its programs are built
on the best available assets, data, and capabilities.
You are a creative and analytical thinker, a skilled collaborator, and an experienced operator who can manage multiple concurrent
programs without losing sight of the commercial outcomes that matter.
Responsibilities
Twilio seeks a Field Marketing Manager who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of building and executing
brand-to-revenue GTM programs in the Japanese market. The desired individual will:

marketing initiatives that reflect the trust-based nature of Japanese enterprise buying.

that improve lead quality and conversion rates.
content, and customer reference activities that support deal progression through to close.
ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance across all touchpoints.
campaign performance analysis, audience segmentation, and personalization at scale.
cadence with key stakeholders on Japan field marketing results, learnings, and optimization actions.
and adjusting strategy and investment accordingly.
maintain lead routing integrity within Marketo and Salesforce.
technology and automation.
back to corporate and regional marketing, and ensuring the GTM plan reflects what the market needs.
represented in regional and global program planning and roadmaps.

within the broader APJ marketing infrastructure.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Field Marketing Manager to own and scale Neural Concept's field marketing motion across Korea and Japan, in close partnership with Sales. Neural Concept is a category-defining Engineering Intelligence company, helping the world's leading engineering teams design better products faster using AI purpose-built for engineering. We recently opened our Seoul office - but we're not starting from scratch. Neural Concept already has an established presence across Korea and Japan, working with some of the region's most demanding engineering organisations. We are now building the marketing and commercial infrastructure to match the ambition of the opportunity. As the first dedicated marketing hire for the region, this is an opportunity to build the marketing motion across two markets - establishing the playbook, growing the pipeline, and amplifying Neural Concept's brand across Korea and Japan. Based in Seoul, Korea will be your primary focus, with Japan as an active and natural extension of your remit. A distinctive aspect of this role: you will work alongside senior industry advisors with deep executive networks in Korean industry. This gives you an exceptional platform to engage with the highest levels of Korean industrial leadership from day one. You will design and execute field programs that accelerate enterprise pipeline, support complex sales cycles, and strengthen Neural Concept's positioning with engineering leaders and executives across Korea and Japan. WHAT YOU WILL DO * Design and execute the Korea and Japan field marketing strategy aligned with global marketing priorities and Korea sales objectives. * Partner closely with Sales to drive pipeline creation, deal acceleration, and account expansion for priority enterprise accounts. * Plan and deliver high-impact field programs, including: * Executive dinners and private roundtables * Flagship industry conferences and selective trade events * Account-based marketing (ABM) programs for top-tier accounts * Creative, targeted field activations designed to reach senior engineering and business leaders at Korea's leading conglomerates * Co-create and execute joint field programs with strategic technology partners (e.g., NVIDIA, Microsoft, AWS). * Leverage local networks and institutions to expand Neural Concept's visibility. * Own programs end-to-end: from concept and budgeting to execution, follow-up, and measurement. * Track and report performance using pipeline influenced, and revenue impact. * Act as the voice of the Korean market, sharing field insights, customer feedback, and competitive signals with the broader marketing and leadership teams. WHO YOU ARE Experience & Skills * 6-10 years of experience in B2B field marketing, revenue marketing, or demand generation in an enterprise or complex sales environment. * Proven track record of working tightly with Sales teams on pipeline-driven initiatives. * Hands-on experience designing and executing executive-level events, ABM programs, and field activations. * Strong understanding of the Korean industrial landscape - automotive, electronics, energy, heavy manufacturing - and how decisions are made in large Korean organisations. * Korean native or bilingual - ability to create content, build relationships, and operate credibly in the Korean market is essential. Japanese is a strong plus. * Ability to plan, execute, and measure programs independently, with high ownership. Nice to Have * Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, engineering software, or deep-tech environments. * Experience working with global or distributed teams. * Prior exposure to partner or ecosystem marketing. * Existing network within Korean and/or Japanese engineering or industrial circles. Mindset & Soft Skills * Highly autonomous and structured, with strong execution discipline. * Comfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving priorities. * Clear communicator with executive presence, both internally and externally. * Curious, pragmatic, and focused on business impact over vanity metrics. WHAT YOU GET * Work with a world-class technology team - our engineers are top-notch, and we always aim for excellence. * Benefit from a competitive salary and rewarding opportunities as we continue to scale. * Work alongside senior industry advisors with proven C-suite track records in Korea's most iconic technology organisations - a unique platform for building your own executive network. * Thrive in a collaborative, multicultural environment where your work is visible and recognised. * Develop professionally alongside talented colleagues who share knowledge freely and support one another. * Make a global impact by helping customers shift to AI-assisted design, making innovation faster, smarter, and more sustainable. * Balance life and work with a hybrid model and flexible hours - we care about results, not rigid schedules. WE'RE PROUD TO BE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER, AND WE'RE COMMITTED TO BUILDING A DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE YOU CAN THRIVE.
