Your Mission Our Account Executives are at the heart of Mercell’s mission. You’ll be a trusted advisor to public sector customers, guiding them through a value based buying journey and showing how Mercell’s solutions can help them achieve efficiency, compliance, and real impact for society. You’ll manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying leads (both inbound and outbound) to running demos, managing tender responses, negotiating terms, and closing deals. With each success, you’ll help strengthen Mercell’s presence in your market and expand our growing community of public sector partners. Core Responsibilities * Proactively identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers across your market. * Translate the business pains of the organization into a value based selling approach to drive large strategic engagements. * Own the entire sales journey from first contact and discovery to negotiation, closing, onboarding, and upselling. * Confidently demonstrate the value and impact of Mercell’s SaaS platform to organisations of all sizes. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data in HubSpot, using insights to optimise pipeline and sales performance. * Stay ahead of developments in the local and European public procurement landscape to uncover new growth opportunities. Required Qualifications * Strong experience (ideally 3-5 years) managing a full B2B SaaS sales cycle, preferably to the public sector or highly regulated industries with a tender driven sales motion. * Strong experience in outbound sales and pipeline generation with demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and decision-makers. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment where priorities evolve. * Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. * Fluency in at least one of the following languages: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, German or Dutch. Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with public procurement, tendering, or compliance-driven buying processes. * Experience working in an international or multi-market sales environment. * Strong consultative selling mindset with a focus on long-term customer value. The Role: Yubico is seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our UKI, Nordics & MEA enterprise business. This is a true player-coach leadership role. Approximately 70% of your time will be focused on leading, developing, and scaling a high-performing sales organization, while 30% will be dedicated to executive sponsorship and direct involvement in strategic enterprise opportunities. We are looking for a leader who enjoys building successful teams but remains close to customers, actively supports major deals, and leads from the front.
