Do you want to work with advanced industrial automation and take ownership of parts handling? System 3R is now looking for a Senior Robot Programmer who combines technical depth with a high level of responsibility. You will work close to both software and hardware in solutions used globally – from individual robot cells to fully automated production flows.
About the role
This is a direct recruitment, meaning the recruitment process is managed by Bravura, and you will be employed directly by System 3R International.
About the company
System 3R International AB is a global leader in productivity-enhancing solutions for the manufacturing industry. From its headquarters in Vällingby, Stockholm, the company develops and manufactures tooling systems, robotics, and software for production planning and automation.
System 3R is part of the Georg Fischer Group and exports 95% of its production through United Machining Solutions’ sales companies in Europe, the US, and Asia. Revenue is approximately 500 MSEK, with around 180 employees.
The company is investing long-term in advanced automation, integrating FANUC robots, collaborative robots, and AMR systems with proprietary software to enable Lights Out Factory production for customers worldwide.
You will join a team of around ten developers working on a modern software platform where robotics is a growing and central part of the solution.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the parts handling track focusing on how the robot interacts directly with the workpiece rather than the pallet.
There is already an established foundation in FANUC programming, and your role will be to further develop and refine it, with a particular focus on gripping, handling, and flows related to the workpiece itself.
You will work both hands-on and in a solution-oriented way, driving development forward within your area and becoming the go-to expert internally.
You will start by getting familiar with existing solutions and system architecture, and then take responsibility for further developing functionality and creating new solutions within parts handling. The role involves close collaboration with software developers, combined with a high degree of ownership within your area.
Example tasks
Program and configure FANUC robots for advanced parts handling applications
Work with collaborative robots (cobots) and integrate them into production environments
Implement and improve advanced gripper systems and part feeding solutions
Configure and optimize vision systems and camera integration
Collaborate with software and engineering teams to ensure seamless system functionality
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain robotics solutions
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in robot programming
Hands-on experience with industrial robots
Experience with vision systems and camera integration
Knowledge of gripper systems and part feeding
Experience with cobots or similar solutions
Ability to work independently and take technical ownership
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
FANUC certification
Experience with AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots)
Understanding of C# or robot-software integration
Swedish language skills
To succeed in this role, you need to be self driven and comfortable taking ownership of a technical area. You take initiative, drive your work forward, and are naturally curious about how things can be improved.
You are also communicative and able to collaborate with both colleagues and, when needed, customers — particularly in situations where your expertise is required. At the same time, you enjoy hands-on work and thrive in an environment where you can work close to the technology and see the results of what you build.
