We are now looking for a Tech Manager
We are now looking for a Tech Manager, a people-focused leader who ensures everything runs smoothly within their tech disciplines.
You’ll manage and support developers from various disciplines and experience levels, helping them grow their skills while aligning their work with Arrowhead’s vision and goals.
You’ll understand both the needs of our players and the project’s broader requirements, using that knowledge to guide professional development and foster a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.
A Tech Manager at Arrowhead knows what great looks like and builds the environment, tools, and practices needed to reach it. You set a high bar, but you also make sure the team has the resources, clarity, and support to meet it. You’re steady under pressure, and can navigate both creative and technical challenges with empathy and confidence.
You’ll lead through influence rather than direct production work, coaching, mentoring, and enabling others to excel in their crafts while ensuring the studio uses its talent to the fullest.

Bring previous experience as a Lead or Manager within tech disciplines in the game industry

What you'll do
Recruit and onboard new team members
Set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and follow up on goals and development plans
Conduct performance reviews, development talks, promotions, and salary discussions
Support your team’s growth by creating opportunities for learning and collaboration
Build and maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring work environment
Ensure Arrowhead’s talents and skills are used effectively across projects
Collaborate with different stakeholders such as directors, production, CTO and senior leadership to align and execute

About the role We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams in our Acquisition organization. Acquisition focuses on the entire customer journey from first contact through to completed installation - the teams that turn interest into happy customers with heat pumps in their homes. This role sits at the intersection of people leadership, technical guidance, and organizational alignment. You will ensure engineers have context, support, and a mandate to do their best work. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering peers to deliver solutions that matter. We are looking for a leader who speaks up, provides a critical perspective on decisions, and holds their ground. Not someone who waits for direction or avoids conflict. Someone who sees what needs doing and acts, taking initiative before problems escalate. You care about people - and that includes having difficult conversations and holding everyone, including yourself, accountable. You will be... Leading and developing engineers through regular one-on-ones focused on growth, blockers, and well-being. Supporting career development and addressing performance issues constructively. Creating psychological safety where engineers can raise concerns and influence decisions. Building a culture actively, not passively - engineers know their manager has their back personally, not just professionally. Working with PMs to ensure every project has clear problem statements and success criteria, so engineers know why they're building what they're building. Challenging work without clear value and helping teams push back when necessary. Navigating relationships with product leadership, PMs, engineering peers, and commercial leadership. Holding ground on engineering concerns. Providing honest feedback to leadership, even when uncomfortable. Collaborating on architecture and technical direction. Supporting modern practices, including AI- assisted development. Ensuring tech debt is tracked and championing ADRs for institutional memory. What you bring to the team Experience leading and developing software engineers, ideally in a product-focused company or scale-up environment Track record of building psychologically safe teams where people do their best work Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information Comfort with difficult conversations - giving feedback, addressing performance, saying no Strong collaboration skills across disciplines (product, design, commercial) Technical background sufficient to engage meaningfully with architecture decisions and engineering practices Experience with agile methodologies and modern development practices Nice to have Experience in a fast-paced scale-up or startup environment Familiarity with the energy sector or hardware/software integration Experience supporting teams through organizational change Background in full-stack or platform engineering What is in it for you? What you’ll do You’ll be the face of Legora for our clients post-sale - guiding them from onboarding through adoption, expansion, and renewal. Specifically, you will: Own the customer journey for a growing book of highly intellectual clients - leading law firms and legal teams across Europe and beyond. Lead onboarding and implementation, ensuring clients are set up for success from day one. Proactively drive product adoption and usage through structured enablement, regular check-ins, and tailored success plans. Act as a strategic advisor: understanding client goals, uncovering new use cases, and helping teams realize maximum value. Identify expansion opportunities and then own the commercial negotiation, taking responsibility for renewals and upsells. Monitor customer health metrics and take initiative to reduce churn risk and drive retention. Closely collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to translate client feedback into actionable insights. What you bring You care deeply about customer outcomes - and you know that successful adoption doesn’t just happen. You’re proactive, strategic, and deeply comfortable working with demanding clients. You take pride in being the reason customers stay, grow, and succeed. We’re looking for 5–7 years of experience in Engagement Management, client advisory, account leadership, or similar roles — in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, professional services, or consulting context. A track record of driving customer retention, expansion, and satisfaction. A hunter mentality. Someone who is comfortable going out, finding and closing commercial opportunities. Experience working with legal, compliance, or other regulated/complex industries and clients - or just ridiculously good at learning as you go. Strong project management and onboarding experience; you keep things moving and your clients confident. Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and interpersonal. You can manage high-level conversations with legal leaders and roll up your sleeves with hands-on teams. High EQ and commercial instinct, meaning you know when to listen, when to advise, and when to act. A love of fast-paced, early-stage environments where you help build the playbook, not just follow it. Comfortable with metrics - driven by data, customer health, and outcomes over process.
