As a Software Engineer, Enterprise Apps on the EAA STP team, you'll design and deliver the Salesforce capabilities that power institutional sales, account management, billing, and compliance workflows at Coinbase. This team is the primary engineering partner for the Sales, Trading, and Prime business, building scalable CRM and billing solutions while integrating Salesforce with pricing, contracting, and downstream finance systems. You'll own end-to-end feature delivery on a small, high-ownership team that partners directly with Sales, Sales Operations, Account Management, and Institutional Operations to unlock revenue, improve forecasting, and build resilient, auditable processes. What you'll do: * Design, build, and maintain Salesforce applications and platform capabilities using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and other Salesforce technologies across multiple orgs. * Own end-to-end delivery of features and enhancements for STP, from technical design and estimation through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. * Build and operate integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware platforms, and ETL tooling to enable reliable cross-system data flows. * Partner with product managers, architects, admins, and business stakeholders across Sales, Compliance, Legal, and Institutional Ops to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. * Drive engineering quality through code reviews, design reviews, documentation of technical patterns and runbooks, and mentorship of IC3 and contractor developers. * Support operational excellence through on-call rotations, production issue triage, root cause analysis, and hardening of critical platform services. Required Skills and Experience: * 4+ years as a Salesforce Developer or equivalent Salesforce-focused engineering role, with deep proficiency in Apex, LWC, Flows, security/sharing models, packaging, and release management. * Demonstrated experience designing complex Salesforce solutions in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud, including case management, Omni-Channel routing, or partner portals. * Hands-on experience building and operating integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware/automation platforms, and ETL tooling. * Solid foundation in software engineering fundamentals, including testable architectures, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and multi-sandbox environment management. * Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality. * Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human‑in‑the‑loop practices to deliver business‑ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality. Our contact centre platform is what keeps merchant support running across all of SumUp's global markets, handling thousands of interactions every day across the globe. As our Senior Platform Engineer, you'll own the technical side of this space entirely, reviewing how it's built today, driving the implementation of new technologies, and leading the move towards AI-powered support. We are seeking a Salesforce Engineer III to design, build, and support secure, scalable Salesforce solutions that support critical business operations. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring strong hands-on technical expertise, sound engineering judgment, and experience working in regulated environments. This position supports systems and data subject to FedRAMP and other U.S. government compliance requirements. Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
