We are looking for a Performance Marketing Executive with a proven track record indigital marketing, growing our Affiliates and Influencers activities. You will work closelywith the Lead of Affiliates & Influencers, peers and the wider marketing team. You will manage recruitment and the activation of new, on-brand affiliate/influencer partners,across a variety of different categories, including shopping aggregators, voucher codes, cashback partners, and more. You will report directly to the Affiliates Lead andsupport business and channel goals, representing our global brand and values.

This role sits at the intersection of content, SEO, paid media, and analytics - with a mandate to grow our digital channels through rigorous, data-led execution. This is not a brand-building role. As a specialist company formation business -where most customers form a company once in their lifetime - our acquisition model is built almost entirely on organic and paid online presence. The successful candidate will think like an ecommerce operator and measure success in conversions, cost per acquisition, and channel ROI. Key Responsibilities Performance & Acquisition • Own the marketing strategy with a clear focus on performance, acquisition, and revenue contribution • Manage a team of Senior Content Managers, Freelance Writers, Videographer, Social Media Manager, Affiliate Marketing Manager • Set and manage KPIs across all channels: organic traffic, paid media ROAS, conversion rates, and cost per acquisition • Drive continuous improvement in channel-level ROI and report results to senior leadership Content & SEO • Lead and develop two Senior Content Managers and oversee all freelance content production • Set editorial strategy aligned to search intent, SEO priorities, and conversion goals • Ensure content output — written, video, and social — serves acquisition objectives across all six websites • Collaborate closely with the Head of Digital and SEO Director on keyword strategy and on-page optimisation Paid Media & Affiliate • Own paid media strategy and budget across search, display, and social channels • Oversee affiliate marketing programme, including partner recruitment, commission structures, and performance tracking Social Media & Video • Provide strategic direction for social media and video content, keeping output commercially relevant • Manage the in-house videographer and social media resource to maximise reach and engagement that drives acquisition Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work alongside the Head of Digital on shared resources (designers and developers) to ensure marketing-led projects are delivered on time • Partner with the Head of Digital on data and analytics to build a joined-up view of customer journeys and acquisition performance • Contribute to website strategy What We Are Looking For • Proven track record in a senior marketing role within an ecommerce, transactional, or lead-generation business • Strong performance marketing mindset - demonstrates commercial results, not just reach or awareness metrics • Hands-on experience leading content teams and setting editorial strategy tied to SEO and conversion • Fluency in paid media channels (PPC, paid social) with budget management experience • Experience with affiliate marketing programme management • Credibility to lead and inspire Senior Content Managers- strong marketing expertise is essential for this • Data-literate: comfortable interpreting analytics and making decisions based on performance data • Experience working across multiple websites or digital properties • Familiarity with company formation, legal services, or fintech verticals • Experience working alongside digital/technical teams on CRO and UX-driven projects • Understanding of SEO strategy at a directorial level (able to brief and challenge the SEO Director What We Offer * £90-110k and comprehensive benefits package * Hybrid working model * Real opportunities for progression as the business scales * The chance to influence both customer experience and product development * A culture that values ownership, impact, and continuous learning Equal Opportunities 1st Formations is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Developing the social expertise of your direct reports, providing mentorship, feedback and coaching on paid social best practices. * Maintaining a strong understanding of the holistic business for each client in their portfolio - with insights on their competitors, overarching business goals, engagements with other agency partners, performance priorities, etc. * Orchestrating multi-discipline collaboration and implementation for flawless execution of full-funnel, cross-channel campaign strategy and activation. Serves as the holistic account leader responsible for managing client expectations and effectively setting CS and GS teams up for shared success. * Developing a deep working knowledge of Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, as well as a core understanding of Growth Services (Programmatic, Decision Sciences, Creative, SEO/CRO). They should have a strategic perspective on how/when to utilize various channels and how they work together to help meet client business goals. * Staying up-to-date on all information disseminated across the agency to ensure their track is adopting best practices and testing recommendations prioritized by the agency. * Serving as a point of escalation for all clients within your portfolio - understanding when to step-in with a client, coach the team on any processes/next steps to mitigate issues, determine what ancillary services/teams should be pulled in, or navigate solutions with legal/finance, etc. * Managing all major deliverables and presentations for your client portfolio (executive presentations, FBRs/QBRs, annual review, in-person strategy meetings, etc) to ensure activation teams across the board (media and growth) are delivering high-quality, innovative strategy - with a consistent storyline to push the client’s business and goals forward. * Ensuring successful onboarding of all new clients within your track - overseeing initial overarching strategy, account management/collaboration process is set up for success, and client interactions and performance are off to a healthy start. * Successfully scaling layers of management and ensuring career pathing/goals are being established for every member of your team. * Identifying succession plans for your team and cultivating talent development for upward mobility. WHAT YOU BRING: * A minimum of 8 years’ paid social experience and a minimum 3 years of experience in a client-facing marketing role * MUST have B2B experience * Proven prior work experience managing a team of 3+ direct reports / team members and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop direct reports into more senior roles * A deep understanding of paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc and be skilled at effectively communicating paid social goals, targets, and direct-response tactics to clients and can get into the weeds when necessary. * The ability to audit an account and present actionable insights to a client * The ability to participate whether it is behind the scenes or client facing for business pitches representing paid social * The ability to provide feedback and strategic guidance to all paid media channels (search, social, shopping, display, mobile, native and video) * Experience acting as an escalation point for clients, evaluating team services levels and proposing improvements WHAT DO WE OFFER?
