Do you enjoy helping others build confidence with digital skills? Are you passionate about teaching and making digital tools accessible to everyone? We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient IT Teacher to join our project team for an Arvsfond’s project.
About the role
As an IT Teacher, you will plan and deliver practical IT and digital skills training for the project's target group which is refugees and migrants with disabilities. Your mission is to help participants become more confident and independent in using digital tools in everyday life, education, work, and society.
You will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where participants can learn at their own pace, regardless of their previous experience or digital skills. Outcome of the project will be a method on how to adapt other projects/courses to meet the needs of this target group.
Your responsibilities
Plan and deliver IT lessons, workshops, and practical training sessions.
Teach everyday digital skills, including computer use, internet safety, email, digital communication, online services, digital meetings, apps, and accessibility tools.
Develop and adapt teaching materials that are clear, accessible, and easy to understand.
Provide individual support to participants when needed.
Encourage safe and responsible use of digital technologies.
Document participant attendance, progress, and learning outcomes.
Collect participant feedback and adapt teaching methods based on their needs.
Contribute to project evaluation and reporting.
Collaborate closely with the Project Leader, project staff, partner organizations, and participants.
Help identify barriers to digital participation and contribute to developing sustainable teaching methods for future use.
We are looking for someone who
Has good knowledge of everyday digital tools and IT.
Has experience in teaching, training, coaching, or facilitating learning.
Can explain technical topics in a simple, patient, and encouraging way.
Has excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
Can adapt teaching to people with different backgrounds, language levels, learning needs and disabilities.
Is organized, flexible, and solution-oriented.
Enjoys working with people with disabilities and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Experience working with the project's target group or within adult education, community education, or digital inclusion initiatives is considered an advantage but not a requirement.

What you'll do: Take full ownership of the engineering operating system within your first three months: tools, vendor contracts, on-call staffing, and platform support, so no escalations land on the CTO by default and engineers never lose time to broken tooling or unclear process. Audit and overhaul the hiring process end to end, improving interviewer calibration, role consistency, and onboarding so that time-to-hire and time-to-first-meaningful-contribution both come down measurably. Own TLT facilitation and drive EM layer consistency, with sessions that end in decisions, shared practices aligned across teams, and cross-EM escalations resolving below CTO level within six months. Build and maintain the engineering progression framework and performance data infrastructure, from a sharp draft in the first three months to a live, Tech 2.0-aligned framework with salary bands agreed with HR and EMs actively using it in performance conversations. Drive cultural and strategic change from decision to operating reality, particularly the Tech 2.0 rollout, owning the rollout plan, adoption tracking, and the rituals that make change stick across the org over an 18-month horizon. What we're looking for: A background as a senior, principal, or staff engineer, with subsequent experience in engineering leadership or management, ideally including people management in a scaling product organisation. Proven ability to operate without formal authority, driving change through credibility and relationships rather than positional power, and comfortable influencing senior engineers and EMs alike. Strong systems thinking with a bias for simplification: able to look at a complex set of processes and find the version that removes friction without losing what matters. High signal-to-noise communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate between strategic direction and operational reality and surface the right information at the right level. What you'll do As an Information Security Manager you will get a chance to take ownership of Kognity's information security programme, keeping certifications like SOC 2 and ISO live and evolving, and driving incident response and customer trust for a platform used in classrooms across 120+ countries. You will: Take full ownership of Kognity's information security certifications and the policies behind them, turning a complex compliance landscape into a dependable system. Manage Kognity's incident response plan and strategy for data breaches, ensuring the business can respond quickly and confidently if an incident occurs. Oversee the IT and data security of Kognity's web systems, including banking security, keeping customer and company data protected across our platform. Lead customer information security dialogues and respond to RFPs, building Kognity's reputation as a partner customers can trust with their data. Manage physical security across Kognity's premises, keeping security risks to our offices and people to a minimum. Provide day-to-day support to teams across Kognity on information security questions, keeping good security practice a part of how people work rather than an afterthought. What we're looking for Experience working with information security frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27000 and ISO 42000) and ownership of an information security set-up end to end. A collaborative approach, comfortable managing security-related projects across functions such as Legal, Engineering, and Commercial.
