Get an idea of the role We’re looking for a Software Engineer who wants to create lending products for the next generation SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) banking experience. We work as a true team, not a group of individuals with separate tickets. We think together, often through ensemble/mob programming, and we stay in constant conversation rather than heads-down in isolation. There are no ceremonies and minimal upfront planning, we sync and adapt as we go. Collaboration stretches across the bank and directly with customers. Being able to build relationships and communicate clearly across disciplines is as important as technical ability. Technical choices are made deliberately, leaning on serverless architecture and managed services to move fast and stay focused on what matters most to our customers. About the Role As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will be a strategic technical leader across multiple teams within the Soundtrack area. You’ll play a key role in bringing our mission to life through architectural oversight, hands-on coding, and close collaboration with senior leaders across tech, product, and design. In Soundtrack we are constantly breaking new ground to build the best tools for soundtracking for creators.
