Som rektor inom förskolan Gotland arbetar du i ett av öns sju förskoleområden. Förskolan Gotland arbetar tillsammans för att skapa en likvärdig utbildning och undervisning för alla barn i våra förskolor. Området innefattar: tre förskolor i Hemse; Högby, Mullvaden och Tallen samt förskolor i Öja, Havdhem och Garda. Som stöd i ledningsarbetet ingår följande funktioner utöver rektor: en biträdande rektor, en specialpedagog samt en skoladministratör. Dina arbetsuppgifter Som rektor i förskolan på Gotland har du ett nära ledarskap till dina medarbetare. Du har ansvar för ditt område vad det gäller; personal, budget, arbetsmiljö, verksamhetsutveckling, systematiskt kvalitetsarbete samt pedagogiskt arbetet. Fokus ligger på förskoleverksamheternas pedagogiska utveckling och du kommer att arbeta för att verkställa målen i läroplanen och de kommunala besluten inom verksamheten. Du arbetar även med ekonomiarbete för ditt område samt tar hand om de rehabärenden som uppstår. I den här rollen får du vara med och leda det pedagogiska utvecklingsarbete som pågår inom förskolan på Gotland. Du samarbetar med såväl vårdnadshavare, social omsorg samt andra rektorer inom förskolan och skolan. Du ser samverkan i dess olika former som en viktig del i ledarskapet, där arbetsmiljöfrågorna är centrala. Vem är du? Du som söker är utbildad förskollärare eller lärare, alternativt har annan akademisk pedagogisk utbildning som arbetsgivaren bedömer som likvärdig. B-körkort är ett krav. Du har arbetslivserfarenhet inom pedagogisk verksamhet samt ledarerfarenhet. Det är meriterande om du är legitimerad förskollärare eller lärare, samt om du har rektorsutbildning och utbildning inom arbetsmiljö och arbetsrätt. Har du erfarenhet av att arbeta som chef med personal-, arbetsmiljö- och budgetansvar är även det meriterande. För att lyckas i rollen som rektor är det viktigt att du är en tydlig, stabil och kommunikativ ledare som skapar förtroende och bygger långsiktiga relationer med medarbetare, barn, vårdnadshavare och samarbetspartners. Du har en god helhetssyn och förmåga att se verksamhetens olika delar i ett sammanhang, samtidigt som du kan omsätta mål och visioner i praktiskt arbete. Du leder med tydlighet och uthållighet, skapar struktur och riktning i verksamheten och bidrar till delaktighet, engagemang och arbetsglädje. I ditt ledarskap visar du gott omdöme och agerar stabilt även i utmanande situationer. Du har förmågan att skilja på det personliga och professionella och behåller fokus på verksamhetens uppdrag och mål. About the research project   Project: Practice-based school research in mathematics education Since 2017, Chalmers has been a part of the national initiative on practice-based school research within the framework of ULF (Education, Learning & Research, ulfavtal.se). The purpose of the initiative is to strengthen the long-term development of the Swedish school system and the teacher and preschool teacher education programs through deepened collaboration around practice-based research. Researchers in mathematics education at the Department of Mathematical Sciences have participated in several research projects that, among other things, have investigated the effects of test-based learning, the use of vertical surfaces, and student-generated clues for solving problems. The projects have been initiated and implemented in close collaboration with teachers at the training schools affiliated with Chalmers' teacher education program, Learning and Leadership. The overarching goal of the project is to further deepen the collaboration around practice-based school research together with our training schools. To make this possible, a postdoctoral position is planned with the assignment to, in close dialogue with principals and teachers, identify challenges within mathematics teaching, formulate research questions based on these, and carry out the research projects together with the school's teachers. The ambition is to collaborate with several schools in the Gothenburg area and to conduct the research at multiple schools. The projects will not have any predetermined thematic focus; rather, they will be developed in dialogue between teachers and researchers based on the needs and interests of the schools.
