Mission Brief You will maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade the control system of the Isar rocket engine test facility near Kiruna (Sweden). You will assume technical responsibility for both software and hardware elements of the control system. There will be close collaboration with the Isar Munich control systems team for work on both this facility, and other future projects. You will be involved in day-to-day test operations, and will work alongside Propulsion Test Engineers to operate the facility. It is expected that there will be a close connection to the other test engineers, and development of a deep understanding of facility systems and requirements. Mission Brief As the Lead Technician at our rocket engine test site in Kiruna you will lead a team of mechanical and electrical technicians in operating, maintaining, and upgrading our test facilities. Together with your team you will configure, troubleshoot, and repair engines and components for both development testing and flight. Mission Brief The Propulsion Test Engineer is part of a team that performs development and verification tests on liquid rocket engines and their subsystems. A Propulsion Test Engineer takes care of test preparation, maintenance and upgrades of the test bench.
