As a Senior/Lead Economy and Engagement Designer at Embark, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems and mechanics that are deep and interesting for our players to engage with and retain them, short, medium and long term, as well as sustainable and player-friendly monetization features and models, that provide real value to our players, in a fair way. You will join the team on ARC Raiders and collaborate closely with the directors of the project, in refining concepts and ideas into tangible designs, prototypes and features, as well as Production leadership helping in articulating and establishing estimates, project scope and timelines. You will share your insights and knowledge in shaping relevant performance indicators, as well as validation methods using telemetry data and simulations. As a senior member of the design team we would like you to act as a coach and mentor to some of the other designers on the project, and possibly take on direct managerial responsibilities, if relevant and suitable. Inspiring and helping more junior designers with design methodology, documentation practices, etc. You will also own and spearhead game features directly, and work hands-on in cross disciplinary teams while implementing features and tools for running a successful and smooth live service game, including community events and other types of events. Example of responsibilities Design, implementation and evaluation of our monetization strategy including quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as any available automation and simulation strategies. Understanding player motivations and how they relate to our game loops, especially in terms of delivering a fun gameplay experience with engagement systems. Responsible for in-game virtual store including recommendations and contributions towards catalog and pricing strategy for micro-transactions. Joint optimization with marketing, acquisition and crm teams for the entire user journey. Be a key stakeholder in game frontend presentation and flow for engagement and game economy features. Design and collaborate on metagame, progression and economy systems for long term player retention and engagement. Analyze the impact of changes in the game, identify opportunities that will have a positive impact on monetization and engagement in development and post launch. Help define key performance indicators (KPIs) related to monetization, analyze KPI reports and share information with the team and stakeholders to identify and predict trends. Monitor trends on monetization in order to identify best practices, achieve optimal results and innovation. Forskargruppen ESSI undersöker transdiagnostiska problematiska beteenden hos ungdomar och unga vuxna, som exempelvis självskada, självmordstankar och aggressivitet. Gruppen driver i dag tre stora randomiserade kontrollerade studier, samt flera epidemiologiska och experimentella studier som undersöker mekanismer bakom självskada. Forskargruppen ESSI är en del av Centrum för psykiatriforskning – ett samarbete mellan Karolinska Institutet och Region Stockholm, med kontor nära Torsplan / KI Campus Solna. Nu söker vi en forskningsassistent för ett projekt på två till sex månader. Din roll Ett av våra intresseområden är personspecifika ”symtomnätverk”, det vill säga ett kvantitativt och systemiskt sätt att förstå psykopatologi. Publicerade studier som har använt sådana nätverk för att identifiera behandlingsmål har ofta utgått från symptom/noders centralitet (tex out-degree). You will take primary responsibility for planning and executing the experimental program in collaboration with senior researchers. While the role does not include formal personnel management, scientific initiative and independence are highly expected. Key responsibilities include: Designing and executing cryogenic experiments. Characterizing Josephson junctions and superconducting circuits. Analyzing device behavior and degradation mechanisms. Help Us Prove a New Standard in Nuclear Fuel Are you a technically sharp, self-driven engineer or scientist who understands how nuclear fuel really behaves - and how to prove it with credible models? Join Blykalla and lead the fuel development and qualification effort that underpins the use of a novel nuclear fuel in an advanced reactor. This role puts you at the center of predicting, validating, and defending fuel behaviour for the western world’s first lead-cooled SMR. You’ll own the delivery of the fuel qualification programme, and strongly influence the development of models and codes that allow for producing regulator-ready evidence to understand our fuel performance. What we do at Blykalla At Blykalla we are developing the next generation of nuclear technology with our Advanced Small Modular Reactor (SMR), based on uranium nitride fuel and a compact, lead-cooled design. Build & evolve fuel performance models ● Take ownership of the development, extension, and adaption of fuel performance models for a lead-cooled fast-spectrum operation, with a focus on physical mechanisms rather than black-box use. ● Lead the benchmarking of models against multiple fuel types (including nitride, oxide and metallic fuels) and fuel performance codes, to support comparison, validation, and fallback options. ● Understand and improve model behaviour by analysing why models work, where they break down, and what must be changed for lead-cooled fast spectrum operation. ● Work closely with experimental and design teams to specify experimental testing (in- and out-of-pile) and examinations that generate data relevant for model validation or development. Working in lockstep with Flight Test Engineers, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of flight tests for experimental, developmental, and modified production systems. Your mission is to push our airframes to their limits to validate performance, ensure compliance with international standards, and prove the safety of our designs. You aren't just "flying drones", you are validating the next generation of autonomous flight technologies that will protect Europe. RESPONSIBILITIES FLIGHT OPERATIONS & EXECUTION * Conduct remote piloting of unmanned aircraft during development and validation campaigns, often in stabilisation modes of fixed-wing and multirotor UAV configuration to test the raw flight envelope. * Execute flight tests with precision according to the flight test programme. * Monitor live telemetry and onboard video streams, maintaining total situational awareness of aircraft health and test status. * Coordinate with GCS operators, observers, and engineers in a high-pressure team environment. TEST PLANNING & PREPARATION * Contribute operational expertise to test site selection, flight profiles, hazard analysis, and weather constraints. * Prepare UAV systems, including pre-flight configuration, control link verification, and functional system checks. * Assist with the integration and ground verification of flight-critical hardware and software. What you'll do: As a member of the CMS Safety Office, you will participate in all safety-related activities at the CMS experimental sites during the Long Shutdown 3, when both the detector and the infrastructure will undergo major upgrades. In particular, you will take a leading role in the technical review of all CMS fire extinguishing systems and safety monitoring systems to assess their design, coverage and suitability for the CMS upgrade.
