Are you endlessly curious about why people choose the brands they do, and what culture tells us about where they’re heading next? Do you love digging into research until you find the insight that changes everything? Are you ready to take ownership of your work and grow fast alongside some of the sharpest brand strategists in the industry? This might be your next role. THE OPPORTUNITY We’re continuing to grow our Stockholm team and are looking for a full-time Junior Brand Strategist, ideally starting in January 2027. What you’ll do You’ll own individual tasks within our brand strategy projects, working closely with more senior strategists who will coach you along the way. You’ll be part of everything from repositioning global industrial companies to building new brands for start-ups, and you’ll see firsthand how strategy turns into identities and experiences. Main responsibilities * Conduct qualitative and quantitative research across markets, competitors, and culture with support from seniors * Synthesize research findings into structured summaries that uncover patterns and feed strategic hypotheses * Shadow senior strategists in client interviews, workshops, and presentations; manage logistics, capture key dynamics, and learn the craft of presenting, debating, and applying strategy * Actively contribute to the team’s work with your own analyses, reflections, and perspectives * Prepare and build drafts of presentation decks and workshop material What we’re looking for You might come from business, marketing, psychology, journalism, design, or somewhere else entirely. What matters is that you’re curious, structured, and eager to learn, and that you’re ready to share your own perspective. Qualifications * A Master’s degree and/or up to 1 year of relevant work experience, such as internships or projects in brand, research, or communication * A strong interest in brand building, consumer behavior, culture, and what makes people choose one brand over another * Strong listening and communication skills, written and spoken * A collaborative, proactive way of working, and you welcome coaching and feedback * Fluent in English; additional languages (including Swedish) are a plus * Eligibility to work in Sweden Who we are and what we offer Kurppa Hosk is a brand agency built for decisive moments. Across Europe and the U.S., our team of 200+ partners with companies at the moments that define them, when clarity is required, and compromise is costly. Working closely with leaders, we help turn bold decisions into confident brands that stand out far from the middle to create momentum and drive demand. We work with brave organizations, from early-stage start-ups like Heart Aerospace and Källa to established brands, like Zalando, Scania, Nike, Meta, and Minecraft. We’re also a founding member of Eidra, a collective of specialist companies, so you’ll have management consultants, digital experts, and product innovators down the hall. To support your professional development, you’ll have access to a personal development coach, courses in emerging fields like generative AI and GEO, and regular peer feedback on every project. Benefits include 30 days’ vacation, a wellness allowance, private health insurance, an occupational pension, and a phone and laptop. You’ll also work from our award-winning office at Grev Tureplan. How to apply Send us your resume and a short letter introducing your background. In it, please cover two things: 1. The last thing you went way too deep on, just because you wanted to understand it. It could be anything, from a subculture to a historical event or a product. What pulled you in, and what did you discover that surprised you? 2. Something you used to believe, about brands, people, or yourself, that you no longer do. What changed your mind? Keep the letter to one A4 page at most. We’re reading for how you think and how you express yourself — so give us your own thinking, in your own voice. We’d much rather read something genuinely yours than something perfectly polished by AI. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until November 1, 2026.
Are you a strategist who rejects the safe, expected consensus? Who can find the answer nobody else saw, and convince the client it’s the right one? Can you translate complex business dynamics into sharp, high-conviction brand platforms that inspire world-class design and decisive client action? And do you thrive when you’re leading the work, from the first analysis to the final recommendation? This might be your next role. THE OPPORTUNITY We’re continuing to grow our Stockholm team and are looking for a full-time Brand Strategist, ideally starting in January 2027. What you’ll do You’ll lead brand strategy on complex, consequential questions — helping organizations understand what’s changing, where they need to go, and the role their brand can play to help them get there. That might mean repositioning a global transportation company for a changing market, helping a bank navigate a landscape reshaped by fintech, or building a health-tech brand that speaks to a new generation of consumers. You’ll shape the strategic direction and be the person clients trust to guide the way. Main responsibilities * Lead strategic projects and workstreams, and drive the process, team, and client forward * Work side-by-side with designers and creatives to translate abstract strategic platforms into distinct visual identities, communication platforms, and brand experiences * Develop high-conviction strategic recommendations firmly rooted in data, insight, and imagination that bridge commercial ambition with creative tension * Build convincing presentations and be able to both read and win over a room * Mentor more junior strategists * Spot new business opportunities and help drive pitches What we’re looking for You might already work as a brand strategist. Or as a journalist who makes sense of the world and crafts stories people believe in. Or as a creative who turns strategy into something people want. Or as an insights specialist who’s ready to shape brands, not just understand consumer behavior. What we care most about is that you combine sharp cultural instincts with the commercial rigor to move client businesses forward. Qualifications * Around 3–4 years of relevant experience, with a track record of leading work that changed a client’s direction * Solid experience in brand building or adjacent strategic work, and real curiosity about culture, consumer behavior, and what makes brands move * Confidence presenting and facilitating with senior stakeholders, and experience coaching others * Higher education in business, marketing, engineering, psychology, journalism, or other relevant fields * Fluent in English; additional languages (including Swedish) are a plus * Eligibility to work in Sweden Who we are and what we offer Kurppa Hosk is a brand agency built for decisive moments. Across Europe and the U.S., our team of 200+ partners with companies at the moments that define them, when clarity is required, and compromise is costly. How to apply Send us your resume and a short letter introducing your background. In it, please cover two things: 1. An example of a brand or category playing it too safe or heading toward irrelevance. What bold, non-obvious decision should their leadership make right now? 2. Great strategy requires getting clients comfortable with being brave. Tell us about a time you defended an ambitious, unconventional strategic idea against safe compromise. Keep the letter to one A4 page at most. We’re reading for how you think and how you express yourself — so give us your own thinking, in your own voice. We’d much rather read something genuinely yours than something perfectly polished by AI. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until November 1, 2026.
Do you have an obsessive curiosity about why culture moves the way it does, and how the world’s most ambitious brands earn their relevance? Do you love cutting through ambiguity to find a sharp, unmistakable point of view? Are you ready to own real parts of brand strategy work, not just support it? This might be your next role. THE OPPORTUNITY We’re continuing to grow our Stockholm team and are looking for a full-time Associate Brand Strategist, ideally starting in January 2027. What you’ll do You’ll take ownership of key parts of our brand strategy projects, whether that’s research and analysis or building the story we present to clients. You’ll work closely with senior strategists and our insights team on everything from repositioning global industrial companies to building new brands for start-ups. Main responsibilities * Own, plan, and deliver workstreams within larger strategy projects from start to finish * Coordinate and perform research and insight work, both qualitative and quantitative * Turn what you find into your own analyses and points of view, and argue for them with conviction * Structure and write parts of strategy presentations that are clear and easy to understand * Present your workstreams clearly and convincingly in client meetings and workshops * Partner closely with our design and creative teams, ensuring strategic insights directly fuel distinct visual systems, communication platforms, and brand experiences * Contribute to pitches and new business What we’re looking for You might come from strategy, creative, research, or consulting — or somewhere else entirely. What matters is that you’ve learned to make sense of complexity, find what matters, and make people care. Qualifications * Around 1–2 years of relevant experience from a brand consultancy, design studio, strategic research agency, or progressive in-house brand team, where your role included owning a piece of work from start to finish * Demonstrated foundational experience in brand building, consumer behavior, culture, and what makes people choose one brand over another * Clear, mature communication, written and spoken, and a proactive, collaborative way of working * Higher education in business, marketing, engineering, psychology, journalism, or other relevant fields * Fluent in English; additional languages (including Swedish) are a plus * Eligibility to work in Sweden Who we are and what we offer Kurppa Hosk is a brand agency built for decisive moments. Something you’ve noticed recently that you haven’t been able to stop thinking about, whether it’s a brand, a cultural evolution, a behavioral shift, a product, or something you overheard. What caught your attention, and what do you think is really going on underneath it? 2. Every brand strategist needs to be curious, analytical, and a good communicator. That’s the baseline. What’s the thing you bring that isn’t on that list? Tell us about one moment where it made the difference. Keep the letter to one A4 page at most.
