Do you thrive in collaborative teams and want your work to shape what players experience every day? As a Backend Developer at Snowprint, you’ll build the backend systems, infrastructure, and tools that power our games. You’ll work closely with your fellow developers, designers, and other disciplines to create stable, scalable solutions, always with the player experience in mind. At Snowprint Studios, we believe that kindness, collaboration, curiosity, and self-leadership are what make great games possible. We work in small, cross-disciplinary teams where people are trusted to take ownership, share ideas openly, and continuously improve how we build games together. What you’ll be doing You'll bring new game features to life while also supporting the systems, tooling, and infrastructure behind them. The role combines feature development with live operations, giving you the opportunity to work on both player-facing functionality and the technical foundations that keep the game running. You'll take ownership of the technical areas you work on, from planning and implementation to testing and live operations. A normal week might include feature development, playtests, troubleshooting production issues, discussing technical approaches with the team, and improving systems to support future needs as the game evolves. You’ll collaborate closely with your colleagues to shape technical solutions that work well for both the game and the people building it. Is this you? You’re an experienced backend developer who is fluent in Kotlin and/or Java and has experience working with live backend services. You’re comfortable operating cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS. You’re comfortable with live operations, including troubleshooting complex production issues and balancing bug fixing and fine-tuning with longer-term improvements and planning. You take ownership of your work and are comfortable working independently while staying connected to the bigger picture. You enjoy solving problems, making decisions, and seeing things through from idea to implementation. You communicate clearly and collaborate well with colleagues across different disciplines. You’re comfortable asking questions, discussing technical approaches, and working through problems together. Where you’ll work Our Stockholm studio is located in Södermalm, and we work in a hybrid setup. We work from the office on Tuesdays and Fridays to support collaboration and social interaction, while other days offer flexibility depending on where you work best. We provide the setup and tools you need to work comfortably both at home and in the studio. Are you excited about crafting vibrant visuals for mobile games that captivate millions of players? As a Concept Artist at Snowprint, you’ll have a broad role with plenty of room to influence the visual direction of our new game project. You’ll mainly work on character and outfit concepts, but also contribute to props, items, environments, key art, and whatever else is needed to bring the game’s visual world together. You’ll be part of a small team where your ideas and perspective matter. You’ll work closely with the Art Director, other artists, designers, and developers, with the freedom to take ownership of your work and find solutions rather than simply working from a list of tasks. At Snowprint, we believe that kindness, curiosity, collaboration, and a shared passion for making great games are key to creating a good place to work and great games. What you’ll be doing You’ll primarily create concepts for characters and their outfits, developing ideas that can be translated into 3D models and eventually brought into the game. You’ll also create key art and title screens, as well as concepts for props, items, environments, and other visual elements when needed. The role gives you the opportunity to work across different types of concept art and contribute to the overall visual quality of the game. You’ll work closely with the Art Director and the rest of the art team, sharing work early, discussing ideas, and responding to feedback throughout the process. You’ll be encouraged to explore different approaches, adapt your style to the needs of the game, and keep moving rather than over-polishing before getting feedback. Is this you? You’re an experienced Concept Artist with professional experience working on at least one released game. Experience from a stylized, fantasy, or high-fidelity game is particularly relevant. You have a strong understanding of character design, including anatomy, proportions, clothing, poses, lighting, composition, mood, and surfaces. You know how to make designs feel visually interesting while still having a clear function and purpose. You understand the path from concept to 3D. You know how to create clear character turnarounds and other concepts that give 3D artists what they need to build and implement the asset. You’re adaptable and comfortable working within an established art direction. You can adjust your style to what the game needs and are comfortable working across characters, props, environments, and key art. What we’ll be looking for in your portfolio Strong character / creature appeal and design fundamentals Dynamic / interesting character presentation Work samples showing confidence in human and animal anatomy A strong understanding of light and material behaviour Clear character sheets for 3D artists Where you’ll work Our Stockholm studio is located in Södermalm, with a hybrid working model. Would you like to shape how players experience a game, from the first interaction to the details that make each feature easy and enjoyable to use? As a Senior UI Designer at Snowprint, you’ll design and implement UI for our games, working closely with designers, developers, artists, and other disciplines to turn ideas into experiences that players can use and enjoy. You’ll have ownership of your work, from early concepts and wireframes through to testing and improvement. At Snowprint Studios, we believe that kindness, collaboration, curiosity, and self-leadership are what make great games possible. We work in small teams where people are trusted to take ownership, share ideas openly, and contribute beyond their own discipline. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how we approach UI, establish good practices, and help create experiences that put the player first. What you’ll be doing You’ll design UI for new features and game systems, creating wireframes, mockups, and interaction patterns that make complex functionality clear and easy to use. You’ll bring your designs into Unity using UI Toolkit, working hands-on to turn them into polished, functional experiences. You’ll playtest and evaluate your work regularly, gathering feedback and using it to improve the player experience. You’ll work closely with game designers, client developers, artists, and other team members throughout planning, development, and testing. You’ll also contribute to how we work with UI as a discipline. This includes establishing best practices, creating useful workflows, and helping maintain consistency across the game. You’ll have room to influence the direction of the UI while balancing design principles with the practical realities of production. Is this you? You’re an experienced UI Designer with professional experience designing for games, including mobile and touch interfaces. You have worked on at least one game in a free-to-play, midcore, turn-based strategy, live-operated, or external IP environment, with experience across several of these areas being particularly relevant. You have experience implementing UI in Unity, and if you have experience with UI Toolkit that would be great. You’re comfortable working with tools such as Figma, the Google Suite, and Adobe Suite, and have experience with version control such as GitHub. You care about practical UI/UX design and getting your work into the hands of players. You understand common patterns and best practices in mobile games, but also know when consistency needs to give way to a better solution for the player or the product. You pay attention to detail and understand that not every problem needs a perfect solution. You’re comfortable giving and receiving feedback, asking questions, and discussing your ideas openly. You take ownership of your work and enjoy working with others to find solutions that balance design, technical constraints, and production needs.
