YOUR ROLE IN OUR STORY: In essence, your role involves * Leading and managing the trading of biomethane quotas, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. * Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to expand our impact. * Providing expert insights and staying ahead of legal and market developments related to biomethane quotas and renewable energy. * Maximizing revenue from biomethane trading by leveraging our existing network and spotting new market opportunities. * Supporting the registration process with environmental authorities, facilitating seamless trading transactions. * Collaborating closely with the trading team, aligning on strategy, and sharing valuable market intelligence. YOUR EXPERTISE: To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes * Fluency in both German and English. * A Bachelor’s/Master's, preferably in Business, Economics, or Finance. * 1-3 years’ experience in emissions trading, renewable energy certificates, or related environmental commodities. * Willing to learn about and develop a niche industry. * Persistent, Ambitious and Energetic. * Understanding of the Fuel Quality Directive (FQD) and biomethane quota regulations. * Exceptional analytical skills and comfort with complex regulatory details. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member. * Experience in gas or biomethane trading would be a strong advantage.

This role is pivotal to driving pipeline and business growth through a combination of in-person events, virtual programs, executive engagement, and ABM tactics.
