Om tjänsten

ARE YOU OUR NEXT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN?

What We Offer

A meaningful internship where you’ll be part of an international work environment and a team passionate about improving maternal

and newborn health. This internship offers valuable insights into how an international NGO operates, with a specific focus on

business development and external relations.

Throughout your internship, you will actively contribute to key business development functions, including identifying fundraising

opportunities, writing status updates for donors, and supporting events to raise awareness. With guidance and support, you will

have the opportunity to take ownership of your own tasks and projects, gain hands-on experience in project management and

self-leadership, and develop essential workplace skills. We recognize the unique perspectives and energy our interns bring and are

committed to providing a meaningful learning experience.

Your Role

You will work closely with the Business Development Team, assisting with daily operations while also engaging in longer-term

projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the development of business development processes and tools.
Developing fundraising applications and status reports to donors.
Conducting research on current trends and mapping fundraising opportunities.
Writing proposals and status reports for donors.
Supporting event planning to raise funds and build partnerships.
Preparing presentations, designing layouts, developing content and other communication related tasks.

Practicalities

The internship is for the Spring term 2027 for a minimum of three months (starting in February). It can be pursued part-time

(approx. 15-20 hours per week) or on a full-time basis, with flexibility to accommodate academic schedules. The role is based in

Copenhagen (HQ) with standard working hours from 9:00 to 17:00 CET and includes the option to work remotely up to two days a week

or upon agreement. You will have regular weekly check-ins with your supervisor to support your learning and professional

development.

Who You Are

We are looking for a proactive person with a teamwork and ‘go-for-it’ attitude, who is willing to learn. You are required to be a

Bachelor’s or Master’s student whose internship is integrated into their academic program. Ideally, you have a background in

Business Development or similar fields with a strong interest in building not-for-profit external relations. As this is an unpaid

position, applicants should be receiving financial support from a third party (e.g., SU/CSN/Erasmus Stipendium or another student

funding source).

If you are eager to gain hands-on experience in an international NGO setting and contribute to meaningful change, we encourage you

to apply. Deadline 23rd of October.
