At the core of the role
In Prague, we are actively seeking a Senior Data Migration Achitect to strengthen our team dedicated to designing and implementing
a migration framework for SQL and data structures from Teradata to Google BigQuery. This role is critical for the New Data
Platform project, which involves modernizing the organization’s data warehouse ecosystem with cutting-edge technologies, including
AI/LLM agents.
Core skills you’ll bring
The impact you'll create
- Design the overall concept of a migration tool for translating SQL transformations and data structures from Teradata to
BigQuery.
- Design an agent-based approach combining:
- Deterministic migration tools (vendor-provided) for translation.
- AI/LLM layer for iterative SQL tuning and edge-case resolution.
- Automated data validation with feedback loop (error → AI → re-run → validation).
- Integrate key components: SQL translation tools, data validation tools, and Git-based workflow for change detection, branching,
and auditability.
