Om tjänsten

One of our client are looking for a Senior/Principal Instrument engineer to their office in Bergen

Job Responsibilities:

Detailed design of instrumentation tasks.
Participate in studies.
Estimate instrumentation tasks.
Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
Perform as-built.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in VEM.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience from offshore and/or onshore oil & gas projects.
Proven track record in instrumentation engineering and design.
Extensive knowledge of brownfield modifications and work on operating facilities.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems and field equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
Experience with ATEX, NORSOK, STID, ProCoSys, and ARIS.
Ability to take ownership of engineering activities and support project execution from study phase through completion.
Experience with preparatiln of tenders, tie-back developments, and metering systems is considered an advantage.

Language

Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken

Certificate, valid

Basic EX course
FSE high- and low voltage with practical first aid
Offshore certificate with Helicopter Escape Training
Health certificate

Planned start date: 04/01/2027

Planned end date: 31/12/2027

Work location

Bergen

Please note that this position requires a physical presence at the specified work location. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are

not available.
