YOUR MISSION AT VOI As Head of Operations Strategy (Germany) you will report to the General Manager and set Voi’s operations strategy across the region, driving scalable, efficient, and high-performing operations. In this role, you will define operating models, optimise cost and performance, and ensure strong alignment between local markets and central functions to support business growth and operational excellence. This will include: Strategy & Alignment * Developing, communicating and implementing the regional operations strategy in close partnership with local and central stakeholders, ensuring alignment between markets and functions to support business growth and operational excellence. Operating Model & Performance * Developing and evolving operating models (including 3PL, workforce management, and service design) to enable scalable and efficient operations. Managing budgeting, forecasting, and cost performance, partnering with FP&S to drive financial discipline. * Overseeing unit economics, ride performance, and utilisation to inform city-level P&L decisions and market profitability. * Building and evolving performance frameworks (KPIs, dashboards, routines) and oversee data and platform management across the region, ensuring high-quality data, strong adoption, and actionable insights. * Identifying, monitoring, and preparing for city launches while delivering high-impact operational initiatives (e.g. feature rollouts, warehouse sourcing, fleet swaps, WFM model changes, 3PL implementations). Analytics & Optimisation * Driving operational and rider analytics, translating insights into actions that improve performance while balancing cost and rider experience, and addressing critical operational issues and misalignments. Leadership & Team Development * Supporting and developing the operations strategy team by setting clear goals and aligning work with strategic priorities. * Acting as a senior strategic partner to local teams * Contributing to global operations discussions, sharing insights to support cross-market alignment and capability development. WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK We are looking for an analytical, strategic operational leader with great interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and align stakeholders on operational initiatives with clear business outcomes. In addition, we believe the right person has: * Professional fluency in German and English * Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, business or similar. * 6-10 years’ experience in operations strategy, logistics/field operations, or a high-growth environment. * Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost performance. * Strong analytical capability with experience in deep data analysis and translating insights into strategy. * Experience driving complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders. * Strong understanding of operational models, including 3PL and workforce management. * Experience managing and developing high-performing teams. * Experience using AI in a role-specific context, with a focus on continuously improving output quality. YOUR MISSION AT VOI As a Senior Operations Strategy Manager for London, you will focus on the strategy & execution of our in-field operations, support the fleet organisation in delivering operational excellence across set KPIs, and ensure successful city launches and completion of long-term improvement projects. In this role, you will report directly to the Country Manager and collaborate closely with the rest of the local Operations team, the Fleet team and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and contribute directly to the continued success of our operations in both countries. This will include: * Defining & shaping the strategy, performance metrics and dashboards for the in-field operations in London * Driving strategic and data-driven decision-making to improve operational excellence and KPIs (e.g. backlog, cost per repair, repair efficiency, uptime). * Being the POC for 3PLs, managing the process and relationship from sourcing to contract negotiation, and collaborating with Fleet Managers to manage performance monitoring and follow up * Drive budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking. * Manage PMO-type operations projects to ensure successful * Supporting the Fleet & Site Managers on execution, and acting as the bridge between central and local teams to continuously drive compliance and improvements of our processes. * Collaborating closely with the Operations team in London, and working proactively to spot improvement opportunities to maximise efficiency, revenue and overall success of our operations in the region. JOIN OUR TEAM As a Senior Manager New Markets, you'll join our New Markets team and report to the VP New Markets. The team is responsible for expanding and scaling geographically. We've expanded Westwing’s footprint from 11 to 23 countries recently and we're not stopping there. The role covers defining the go-to-market approach for new markets and particularly focuses on bringing those markets live and scaling them. You will work closely with other New Markets team members and colleagues across the organisation. This role is well suited to a candidate who is motivated to scale a market from the ground up, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and takes ownership and works independently. The position is unlimited and based in Munich. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Drive our expansion strategy including market sizing, competitor analysis, positioning and business case modelling and derive clear, well-founded and detailed recommendations on which markets and which entry mode to pursue * Own the commercial and go-to-market approach for new markets, from target assortment and pricing to brand positioning and local marketing as well as launch planning and translate it into a concrete, milestone-based implementation plan * Lead and deliver the workstreams that bring a market to launch readiness, with a particular focus on commercial and marketing topics but also navigating confidently along the interface with sourcing, operations, customs, legal, tax and tech topics * Own the KPIs that matter once a market is live, including set up the relevant KPI dashboards, identify and act upon what's driving or holding back commercial performance, stay on top of recent developments and continuously sharpen the playbook and derive measures to improve growth and profitability * Run customer surveys to understand the local customer, and make sure the customer experience is flawless from day 1 after launch * Prepare recommendations to senior leadership and ensure stakeholders are aligned YOU COME WITH * 5+ years of relevant experience in business building, strategy and/or consulting, ideally combined with a proven track record in commercial and/or marketing functions; experience in consumer/lifestyle businesses is a clear plus * Strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to build business cases and financial models from scratch, structure complex and ambiguous problems, and develop creative, customer-centric solutions * Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of ownership, driving topics independently from analysis through implementation.
