We are now looking for an experienced Senior AI Model Validation Specialist to support the independent validation of advanced AI

agents within the financial sector.

As AI moves from experimentation into business-critical operations, ensuring that models are reliable, compliant, and ready for

production has never been more important.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Model Risk Management, and AI Governance, helping

organizations deploy AI responsibly and with confidence.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior AI Model Validation Specialist, you will play a key role in independently reviewing and validating AI agents before

they are approved for production.

You will assess model performance, methodology, data quality, documentation, governance, and risk controls to ensure that AI

solutions meet the requirements of a highly regulated environment.

You will work closely with AI development teams, governance functions, risk management, and Financial Crime Prevention

stakeholders.

The role combines technical AI expertise, independent risk assessment, and regulatory understanding, with a strong focus on

ensuring that AI solutions are reliable, well-controlled, and production-ready.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Conduct independent Model Risk Validation (MRV) assessments of AI agents and machine learning models.
Review model design, architecture, methodology, assumptions, and performance.
Evaluate model robustness, reliability, explainability, and potential limitations.
Assess data quality, data lineage, and supporting validation evidence.
Review model documentation, governance frameworks, and lifecycle controls.
Identify model risks, challenge assumptions, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and validation standards.
Prepare structured validation reports and recommendations supporting production approval.
Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, governance teams, and risk stakeholders.
Support validation activities across multiple AI initiatives at different stages of readiness.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We believe you bring:

Proven experience in Model Risk Validation, Model Risk Management, Model Governance, or independent AI/ML model validation.
Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and model validation methodologies.
Experience assessing AI/ML models throughout their lifecycle.
Knowledge of model performance evaluation, testing methodologies, and validation frameworks.
Experience reviewing technical documentation, datasets, and evidence supporting model approval.
Understanding of AI governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management principles.
Ability to independently assess technical solutions and constructively challenge model developers.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Professional proficiency in English.

Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is particularly valuable.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with one or several of the following is a plus:

Model Risk Management frameworks, including SR 11-7 or equivalent regulatory guidance.
EU AI Act, GDPR, and Responsible AI frameworks.
Financial Crime Prevention, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud detection, or transaction monitoring.
Validation of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agents.
AI evaluation techniques, including hallucination testing, bias assessment, explainability, and robustness testing.
Python and common machine learning frameworks.
Model monitoring, MLOps, and AI lifecycle governance.
Preparing independent validation reports for governance or risk committees.

You are confident in your professional judgment, able to challenge constructively, and skilled at translating complex technical

findings into clear recommendations.

Most importantly, you want to help organizations move from AI experimentation to reliable, responsible, production-ready

solutions.
