Business Controller

Join our Finance and Controlling team as a Business Controller and play a key role in supporting business performance and operational excellence through planning, reporting, and performance analysis. In this position, you will contribute to better health for more people by delivering high – quality management reporting, support continuous improvement, and enabling data – driven business decisions. Grow with us – Your Responsibilities · Support local management and business functions by providing financial analyses and insights to support operational decision-making · Participate in the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results · Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities in collaboration with relevant business stakeholders · Monitor business performance, identify variances and trends, and contribute to recommendations for improving operational and financial performance · Prepare and maintain performance reports, key performance indicators, and reporting tools that improve transparency and support performance monitoring · Support the preparation of business cases, investment analyses, and other decision-support activities · Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, and other business functions to improve transparency, reporting quality, and business performance · Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of global systems, best practices, and organizational changes · Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data used in reporting and decision-making · Translate data into meaningful insights and communicate findings clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders What will convince us · Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field · Proven experience in controlling, financial analysis, reporting, or a similar analytical finance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably supporting Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, or related functions · Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and translate findings into actionable recommendations · Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and explain complex topics clearly to diverse stakeholders · Proactive and collaborative working style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment · Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP; familiarity with reporting and analytics tools is considered an advantage · Experience working in an international business environment · Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken What we offer As a growing global life science company, stock listed on the German MDAX and TecDAX, Sartorius offers a wide range of benefits: Comprehensive onboarding and opportunities to develop your expertise and grow with us.
