Senior Accountant - Finnish Speaking (Finance)

Finland is becoming our primary operating entity. High volumes. A direct line to the CFO. We are looking for a hands-on Senior

Accountant who wants to own the whole accounting cycle.

If you like doing the work yourself rather than managing it from a distance, and you want to build something as it grows, this is

for you.

You will own accounting & reporting for our Finnish entity end to end. You will be based in Helsinki and report directly to our

CFO.

• 6+ years of hands-on, in-house accounting in a complex, high-volume environment. You have personally owned the full accounting

cycle

• Industry background: you have worked in a business with a large daily flow of transactions, such as fintech, tech, retail,

manufacturing or import-export

• Finnish compliance: strong knowledge of Finnish GAAP (FAS), local tax rules and VAT, and experience with Finnish statutory

reporting

• Accounting and reporting: you know accounting inside out, and you understand reporting and what the numbers mean for the

business

• Systems: Netvisor, in your current or a previous role, and comfort with manual cross-checking and reconciliations. Xero, SAP or

similar are also relevant.
