Team is seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Data Science & Analytics Intern to support strategic initiatives across
Product Management, Operations, Sales, and Marketing. This role is ideal for students who enjoy combining technical data skills
with business problem solving to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and recommend actions. Our Fall (Sept – Dec) interns work
full time with the opportunity to continue through Spring. We strongly prefer candidates who can work onsite regularly to
accelerate learning, collaboration, and business understanding. What does a typical day look like? Onsite Day • Meet with Product
Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, or AEP teams to understand business challenges and decision-making needs. • Analyze
customer, product, pricing, operations, supply chain, and financial data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement
opportunities. • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches. • Work directly with leadership and
subject matter experts to understand product portfolios, operational processes, and customer dynamics. • Build dashboards,
predictive models, business cases, and executive-level recommendations. • Present findings, risks, and recommended actions to
stakeholders. Remote day: • Deep analytical work including: • Data mining and exploration • Statistical analysis • Predictive
modeling • Data cleansing and transformation • AI-assisted analytics and automation • Develop Power BI dashboards and self-service
reporting tools. • Prepare executive-ready presentations and recommendations. • Document assumptions, methodologies, and business

Present insights and recommendations to leadership. o Build a portfolio of meaningful business analytics projects. o Be considered
for future Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Product Analyst, Product Manager, or Business Intelligence roles. Must-Have
Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: • Data Science • Analytics • Computer Science • Information Systems •
Artificial Intelligence • Industrial Engineering • Statistics • Applied Mathematics • Business Analytics Advanced Excel skills
including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and data modeling Experience with Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar BI platforms
Strong SQL and database fundamentals Experience with Python, R, or other analytical programming languages preferred Experience
using AI productivity and analysis tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to business
stakeholders Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn products, markets, and operational processes quickly Essential Job
Functions • Look at a computer screen for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) • Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
(2-4 hours at a time) • Commute to Middletown, PA office • Ontime and regular attendance Interns at Phoenix Contact are employed
