EXPLORE TECHNOLOGY THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
At CPAC Systems, we develop advanced control systems for marine and industrial applications, combining automation, electromobility
and connectivity to make machines and boats smarter and easier to use. As part of Volvo Group, we explore new technology and turn
ideas into solutions that our customers use every day.
Since 1999, we have grown to 250 employees, with more than 80 patents and over 500,000 products delivered each year. Behind these
numbers are curious people who enjoy working together and solving practical problems.
Doing your master’s thesis with us means becoming part of that team. You will work alongside experienced engineers, explore
real-world challenges and bring your own ideas to the table. We share our knowledge, support each other and give you room to
learn, test and develop your ideas.
MASTER THESIS AREAS
Interested in exploring how technology can make a difference in real machines and applications? Our current areas of interest for
master’s thesis projects include:
- AI, Machine Learning & Computer Vision
Including edge-based detection and classification of vulnerable road users.
- Sensor Technology, Positioning & Signal Processing
Including lidar evaluation, sensor calibration, semantic localization and estimation.
- Visualization, AR & Teleoperation
Including rendering and augmented reality for remote operation of machines.
Got your own idea? We’d love to hear it.
WHO YOU ARE
You are planning to do your master’s thesis during spring 2027 and are probably studying mechatronics, mechanical engineering,
electrical engineering, engineering physics, computer science or a similar field. We also welcome students in industrial
engineering who are interested in operations, supply chain and forecasting.
What matters most is that you are curious, enjoy exploring new ideas and want to use your knowledge to solve real-world problems.
WHAT WE OFFER
We want your master thesis to be both challenging and rewarding. Here you will get:
