Technical Project Manager - Fullstack & Connected Services

At CPAC Systems, we develop technology that connects software, electronics and real-world applications. We are looking for a

technical leader to lead teams developing backend services and fullstack solutions for connected machines.

Combining project management, product ownership and team leadership, you will translate customer and business needs into clear

priorities and lead your teams’ development and maintenance work. You will manage budgets, timelines and resources, balancing

scope, quality and delivery while coordinating dependencies between applications, backend services and machine systems.

Your teams’ solutions form part of a broader connected ecosystem, enabling communication between machines, digital services and

users. You will work with software that supports the machine-to-machine chain, collaborating across technical areas to ensure that

individual components work together as a complete solution.

Your technical background helps you understand software architecture, integrations and data flows across frontend, backend and

connected systems. Working closely with developers, customers and other stakeholders, you will guide priorities and technical

discussions, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term maintainability, reliability and scalability.

CPAC Systems develops advanced control systems for marine and industrial applications. Since 1999, we have been turning complex

delivered each year, we drive innovation in everything from electrification to intelligent automation. As part of Volvo Group, our

role is to lead advanced technology development and explore the next generation of smart control systems.

• 5-10 years of experience leading software development, for example as Product Owner, Project Manager, Lead Engineer or

Technical Team Lead.

• Experience working closely with customers or external partners and turning their needs into clear priorities and requirements

for development teams.

• A good understanding of software architecture, APIs, system integrations and how data moves between applications, backend

services and connected devices.

You are a hands-on project manager who enjoys working closely with your teams. You connect people, take initiative and keep things

moving, while trusting others and giving them room to take ownership.

You bring structure and calm when deadlines are tight, turning complex challenges into clear priorities. You explain technical

topics confidently to engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike and create an environment where people feel comfortable

asking questions and solving problems together.

You enjoy understanding customer needs and balancing expectations with the teams’ capacity. You are comfortable adjusting plans

and saying no when needed, keeping both delivery and long-term quality in focus.

Your interest in technology remains hands-on: you enjoy programming, whether through side projects or simply for fun. You are

curious about AI and how it can change software development, and you like exploring new tools and approaches. You understand how

software connects machines, services and users, and how decisions in one part of a system affect the whole.
