Om tjänsten

At CPAC Systems, we develop technology that connects software, electronics and real-world applications. We are looking for two

technical leaders: one within ECU Hardware and one within ECU Software.

Combining project management, product ownership and team leadership, you will translate customer and business needs into clear

priorities and lead your team’s development and maintenance work. You will manage budgets, timelines and resources, balancing

scope, quality and delivery while coordinating dependencies between ECU hardware, software and connected systems. Your technical

background will help you understand these connections and make informed decisions together with your team.

Technical Project Manager for ECU Software

You will take ownership of the software for our electronic control units (ECUs), working closely with the ECU hardware program and

other internal stakeholders. You bring broad and in-depth software development experience, particularly in embedded systems and

vehicle ECUs, and understand vehicle electrical systems and how software and hardware interact.

Technical Project Manager for ECU Hardware

Your responsibility spans hardware design, development, industrialization and maintenance. Together with your team, suppliers and

the ECU software program, you will balance technical requirements with production needs and long-term product quality.

Your background includes hardware product development and design, experience with vehicle ECUs and an understanding of vehicle

electrical systems and software development.

ABOUT US

CPAC Systems develops advanced control systems for marine and industrial applications. Since 1999, we have been turning complex

operations into intuitive experiences. With 250 employees, a portfolio of more than 80 patents and more than 500,000 products

delivered each year, we drive innovation in everything from electrification to intelligent automation. As part of Volvo Group, our

role is to lead advanced technology development and explore the next generation of smart control systems.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Around 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a role such as Product Owner, Project Manager, Lead Engineer, QA

Engineer or Technical Team Lead.

  • Experience in either ECU software or ECU hardware development, or comparable technology relevant to your chosen role, is

required.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
A solid technical foundation and an understanding of integrated systems and end-to-end product development.
English is required, and Swedish is a big plus.

WHO ARE YOU?

We believe you are a hands-on project manager who enjoys working closely with your team and takes responsibility for moving things

forward. You follow up, take initiative and step in when needed, while trusting others and giving them room to take ownership.

You bring structure and a sense of calm, even when deadlines are tight. You can break down complex projects into clear priorities

and manageable steps, helping the team understand what needs to be done and why. You listen, communicate openly and create an

environment where people feel comfortable raising concerns and solving problems together.

You enjoy working with customers and understanding their needs. You balance their expectations with the team’s capacity and are

comfortable discussing priorities, adjusting plans and saying no when needed. You make decisions with both the customer’s goals

and the technical solution in mind.

You have a strong interest in technology and want to understand how different parts of a product work together. You enjoy

discussing technical questions with developers and helping people across different technical areas work towards a shared goal.

With experience in leading development projects through to delivery, you know how to turn plans into action and keep quality in

focus along the way.

You will primarily work from our office in Mölndal. We offer the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.

APPLICATION

We would love to hear from you! The application form includes screening questions where you can tell us more about your background

and indicate whether ECU Hardware or ECU Software best matches your experience and interests.
