Om tjänsten

Wibe Group is an international industrial organization with approximately 400 employees and operations across Sweden, India, the

Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and Malaysia. The company is now strengthening its operations organization with a new senior

technical leadership role.

Wibe is looking for a

TECHNICAL MANAGER

Would you like to take a leading role in strengthening technical production development across an international manufacturing

group?

Why you should choose Wibe

As Technical Manager at Wibe, you will have the opportunity to combine leadership, engineering, maintenance and process

development in a newly established position with significant influence.

You will support the factories in improving productivity, digitalizing operations and developing modern manufacturing methods. The

role also gives you the opportunity to lead investment projects and help connect engineering and manufacturing so that products

and processes deliver performance, quality and cost competitiveness.

What we offer

A broad senior role with responsibility for people, technology and operational development. You will work closely with the

factories and the Operations Director, with a clear mandate to introduce new perspectives and develop how Wibe works in a modern

manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the engineering, process development and maintenance organisation
  • Set objectives, KPIs, budgets and technology roadmaps
  • Strengthen technical production development and support the factories in improving efficiency
  • Drive digitalisation, productivity, quality and capacity improvements
  • Lead investment, industrialisation and strategic improvement projects
  • Own the maintenance strategy and execution at the group’s largest factory
  • Develop preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and uptime
  • Promote Lean, Six Sigma, waste reduction and the sharing of best practices

About the role

As Technical Manager, you lead product design, industrialisation and process improvement while also holding responsibility for

maintenance at Wibe’s largest factory. You will manage an organisation of approximately 15 employees, including one manager, with

eight direct reports. The team includes process engineers and maintenance employees.

You will oversee product design, testing, validation and release, applying design-for-manufacture, design-for-assembly and value

engineering principles. You will also lead the industrialisation of new products and processes, approve manufacturing standards

and drive initiatives that improve productivity, quality, capacity and cost efficiency.

The role includes close collaboration with Operations, Commercial, Product Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance, as well

as selected suppliers and partners. You will manage technical risk, ensure compliance with applicable requirements and escalate

significant technical, operational, quality or capacity risks when needed.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a senior and experienced leader with a long background in manufacturing industry. You understand both

technology and maintenance, and you are comfortable leading engineers as well as employees working close to production. You can

combine strategic direction with practical execution and have the credibility to drive change across organizational boundaries.

We believe you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial or product development engineering, or another relevant discipline
  • At least 8–10 years of progressive engineering or manufacturing experience
  • At least 3–5 years of leadership experience
  • Experience spanning product development and process or manufacturing engineering
  • A proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams through product launches, industrialization and operational improvement

programs

  • Experience from maintenance and technical functions in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, strategic, financial and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to influence, introduce new ways of working and drive sustainable change
  • Experience with preventive or predictive maintenance, reliability engineering or facility and asset management is an advantage
  • You communicate effortlessly in both Swedish and English, verbally as well as in writing.

Who you are

You are a confident and forward-looking leader who creates clarity, engagement and accountability. You are analytical and

structured, but also pragmatic and action oriented. You enjoy challenging established methods, bringing new ideas to the

organization and turning technical opportunities into practical improvements for the factories.

Employment

This is a permanent, full-time position. Starting date by agreement.
