About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer for a short-term assignment with a leading organisation in the

construction and engineering industry.

The assignment involves designing and developing a new SharePoint Online communication site for the Development and IT functions.

The consultant will combine hands-on SharePoint implementation with technical expertise in solution architecture, information

architecture, navigation, search and governance.

The goal is to deliver a modern, intuitive and scalable communication site that follows Microsoft 365 and SharePoint best

practices, enhances information sharing and discovery, and supports long-term maintenance and future development.

The consultant will work independently, provide technical guidance to stakeholders, and translate business requirements into

practical, sustainable solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing SharePoint Online communication sites using standard platform capabilities

and Microsoft best practices.

• Experience creating user-friendly and maintainable solutions for content publishing, internal communication and information

discovery.

• Nice to Have
• Experience with SharePoint hub sites, Microsoft Search and integrations across Microsoft 365.
• Experience working within established governance models for decentralised content management.
• Previous experience implementing intranets or enterprise-level communication sites.
• Knowledge of best practices for sustainable content management and ongoing SharePoint development.
