On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for Telecom - Senior Engineer
Pnr: 23782
Job Description:
- Detailed design of telecom tasks
- Participate in studies
- Estimate telecom tasks
- Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries
- Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages)
- Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility
- Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier
- Participate in inspections onshore/offshore
- Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers
- Perform as-built
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation
- Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
- Strong experience in engineering design
- Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, requirements, client systems and methodes
- Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations
- Strong knowledge of telecommunication system, network infrastructure and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry
- Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written
- Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written
- EX - Basic EX course
- FSE - High and low voltage, included first aid
- AT / SJA
- Offshore certificate og health certificate
