WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Advance Atlar’s security program. Shape the long-term vision, roadmap, and best-practice playbooks that keep security woven
into every layer of our product and culture.
- Secure our cloud-native stack end-to-end. Continue to harden AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and backend services (mainly
Go) by designing and enforcing robust controls, guardrails, and monitoring.
- Drive vulnerability management and incident response. Own threat modelling, coordinate penetration testing, triage
vulnerabilities, and lead rapid, well-drilled responses when something goes bump in the night.
- Automate security into our developer workflow. Build internal tooling and GitHub Actions checks that make “secure by default”
the easiest path for every engineer—without slowing product velocity.
- Guard our certifications and compliance posture. Maintain and continuously improve our existing SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001
certifications: gather audit evidence, refine policies, and close gaps before they appear.
- Embed security culture company-wide. Run training, code reviews, and architecture sessions so every team—from product to
operations—understands and owns their part of the security story.
