Senior Accountant

a Senior Accountant to join the team.

The Finance Department owns the numbers at Tendium. We're building the finance function of tomorrow, where AI and automation

handle repetitive tasks, allowing you to focus on work that requires your expertise and judgment. You will not only work within

existing structures but also help shape them by documenting procedures, improving workflows, and building scalable processes as we

grow.

government contracts. Our platform turns complex processes into something simple and transparent, empowering businesses to compete

fairly for billions in public sector opportunities. We’ve been building our AI-native platform since 2018, leveraging a vast data

moat, agentic AI, and tens of thousands of hours of R&D. Today, we serve large numbers of customers across Europe and are rapidly

scaling.

• Monthly Closing & Reconciliations: Manage monthly closings across all group entities, including balance sheet reconciliations,

VAT, and accruals.

• Accounts Receivable & Collections: Own the process from invoicing to payment, including reminders, customer communication, and

overdue collections.

• Accounting Operations: Manage daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, invoice approvals, weekly payments, payroll support,

employee expenses, and intercompany reconciliations.

• Systems & Processes: Develop and document procedures and improve system integrations, including Fortnox and our subscription

management system.

• Independent & Proactive: You take ownership of your work, drive tasks to completion autonomously, and proactively identify

challenges, find solutions, and seek support when needed.

• Attention to Detail: Your reconciliations are accurate, and you investigate discrepancies until you fully understand them and

can clearly explain their causes.

• Adaptable & Growth Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift, challenges evolve, and not

everything is figured out yet. You're eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated by the opportunity to grow alongside the

company.

• Curious & Tech-Savvy: You're curious about new technologies and eager to explore how AI and automation can improve financial

processes. You have strong systems proficiency, understand API integrations, and continuously look for smarter, more efficient

ways of working.

• Process Builder: You are comfortable working without established procedures and understand how to create scalable processes by

collaborating with other system owners and specialists.

• Bonus: Experience in revenue reconciliation and deferrals, ideally within a SaaS company, along with a broad accounting

background in small or medium-sized businesses and experience driving automation initiatives.
