About 0TO9
0TO9 is a bank for entrepreneurship, built by and for financial innovators. We provide infrastructure for entrepreneurs ready to start and scale the next generation of financial products and platforms. Founded in 2025, we're already 75+ co-workers across Europe, and growing fast. Our name reflects our mission: from zero to success, from idea to impact, from now to what's next.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior IT Operations Engineer who enables our organization to grow. You'll be part of a team that delivers IT and cybersecurity to the companies in our portfolio, supporting them whether they're onboarding a new team, setting up a new office, or choosing the right tools.
This is a senior role with real strategic weight. You'll shape how we make forward-looking IT decisions on integrations, platforms and tooling, drive the development of our IT operations, and help us navigate technology choices as we scale. At the same time, you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, when a new office needs screens, conference systems and a printer up and running, you're happy to make it happen. You take ownership, drive work forward independently, and work closely with the rest of the team on IT processes, security and regulatory work like GDPR and DORA.
What you'll do
Own IT operations for both central IT and our portfolio companies as they grow, from day-to-day support to being their long-term IT partner as their needs mature.
Deliver hands-on IT setup and support to our portfolio companies: onboarding, tooling, office setup, meeting and conference systems.
Drive a methodical, consolidated approach to software licenses, how we buy, manage and follow up on them, and manage the vendor relationships behind our IT portfolio.
Make sure the services we buy actually deliver on our contracts, requirements and expectations.
Be part of the team responsible for IT and cybersecurity, working hands-on with technical support and integrations and bringing a senior perspective.
Build the operating model for how we scale IT support to new portfolio companies as we grow today it might be five companies, tomorrow twenty.
Who you are
A senior IT operations profile with broad, hands-on experience, comfortable being third-line support one moment and a strategic sparring partner the next.
Experienced with Google Workspace and at least one major cloud platform (AWS or GCP).
Structured and methodical in IT administration: licenses, vendors, agreements, follow-up.
A relationship builder who enjoys being the face of IT toward colleagues and portfolio companies, proactive, approachable and service-minded.
Project-oriented and self-driven, you can run initiatives end to end, but you're a doer at heart, not a pure project manager.
Comfortable in a fast-growing environment where things change quickly and no task is too big or too small.
Bonus points
Experience with cybersecurity operations, endpoint monitoring (e.g. CrowdStrike), code scanning, or guiding developers on secure practices.
A background close to development or IT product management, giving you an eye for how technical decisions play out over time.
Why 0TO9?
Shape a role and a function that's being built from the ground up.
Real ownership from day one, no layers, no bureaucracy.
Work directly with the companies in our portfolio and see your work enable their growth.
Grow with us as we scale across Europe.

Education is one of the most important systems in the world. At Kognity, we build the technology that makes it work better, for the teachers delivering it and the students depending on it. The problems are real, the work is challenging, and the results show up in classrooms every day. We're a 125-person EdTech scale-up powering learning in 120+ countries, helping students and teachers thrive through an intelligent platform that combines rich, interactive pedagogy with smart AI and data. Why join Kognity? Work on problems that matter - Your work directly influences the lives of teachers and students in over 100 countries. The scale is global, and the outcomes are tangible. High ownership, high expectations - You are trusted to take initiative, make decisions and drive outcomes. Responsibility comes early, accountability is real, and results matter. A fast-moving, high-performing team - You will work with smart, driven colleagues across the globe on complex problems. Standards and expectations are high, feedback is direct, and the pace is fast. Continuous growth is the baseline - Everyone is expected and supported to learn quickly, improve constantly and raise their own bar. If you enjoy responsibility, momentum and meaningful challenge, you will thrive here. What you'll do: Take full ownership of the engineering operating system within your first three months: tools, vendor contracts, on-call staffing, and platform support, so no escalations land on the CTO by default and engineers never lose time to broken tooling or unclear process. Audit and overhaul the hiring process end to end, improving interviewer calibration, role consistency, and onboarding so that time-to-hire and time-to-first-meaningful-contribution both come down measurably. Own TLT facilitation and drive EM layer consistency, with sessions that end in decisions, shared practices aligned across teams, and cross-EM escalations resolving below CTO level within six months. Build and maintain the engineering progression framework and performance data infrastructure, from a sharp draft in the first three months to a live, Tech 2.0-aligned framework with salary bands agreed with HR and EMs actively using it in performance conversations. Drive cultural and strategic change from decision to operating reality, particularly the Tech 2.0 rollout, owning the rollout plan, adoption tracking, and the rituals that make change stick across the org over an 18-month horizon. What we're looking for: A background as a senior, principal, or staff engineer, with subsequent experience in engineering leadership or management, ideally including people management in a scaling product organisation. Proven ability to operate without formal authority, driving change through credibility and relationships rather than positional power, and comfortable influencing senior engineers and EMs alike. Strong systems thinking with a bias for simplification: able to look at a complex set of processes and find the version that removes friction without losing what matters. High signal-to-noise communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate between strategic direction and operational reality and surface the right information at the right level. A passion for AI and a drive to experiment with new tools to enhance creativity, decisions, and execution. How we hire Discovery call with a Recruiter Hiring manager discussion Case study Values discussion Leadership talk References Every qualified person will be evaluated regardless of age, gender, identity, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status or religion. We're committed to building a diverse, inclusive team and welcome people of all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities.
Every parcel we deliver starts with an engineering decision At Instabee, we don't just move parcels — we solve some of the most complex physical-world problems in European logistics, at scale. From the algorithms that optimize a driver's route to the systems that predict terminal throughput hours in advance, our engineering decisions have a direct impact on millions of deliveries every day. We're now looking for a Staff Engineer to join our technical leadership group — someone who doesn't just write great code, but shapes how entire teams think, build, and deliver. About the Role This isn't a traditional engineering role. As a Staff Engineer in Group Operations, you sit at the intersection of technical strategy and real-world logistics. You work alongside Product and Engineering Management to ensure multiple teams are building the right things, in the right way, at the right scale. Think of yourself as the technical glue — the person who bridges business ambition and engineering execution, who spots the hard problems before they become expensive ones, and who raises the bar for the entire engineering organization around you. What You'll Do Drive Technical Strategy & Architecture Set the technical direction across multiple teams in Operations. You'll guide engineers toward right-sized solutions — balancing high-scale stability with the speed needed to move the needle on operational KPIs. Tackle Genuinely Hard Problems Forecasting incoming parcel volumes, optimizing terminal throughput, routing thousands of drivers in real time — these are the kinds of challenges that define our business and your days. Champion Developer Experience Identify and eliminate technical friction. You'll lead initiatives to improve testing environments and deployment speed, keeping our engineering organization sharp and efficient. Bridge Business & Tech Translate complex business requirements into evolvable technical designs. You'll help teams understand how their code directly impacts the P&L of our logistics network — and why that matters. Mentor & Build Culture Act as a role model for the engineering community. You'll mentor senior engineers, promote a culture of learning from failure, and foster cross-team collaboration to ensure we don't reinvent the wheel. Enable Data-Driven Decisions Work closely with Data and Product teams to ensure our systems produce high-quality insights that power company-wide decisions. What We're Looking For You don't need to be an expert in everything your teams do — but you should care deeply about helping them succeed. We think you'll thrive in this role if you are: A Technical Leader — You have broad experience building distributed systems and can navigate deep technical dives and high-level architectural trade-offs with equal confidence. Strategic & Pragmatic — You know that "perfect is the enemy of good." You favor an iterative mindset, delivering value early and often rather than waiting for the ideal solution. Operationally Curious — You're fascinated by the intersection of software and physical operations. Experience in logistics, routing, or hardware integration is a significant plus. A Communicator & Collaborator — You can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and thrive in a cross-functional environment where engineering, product, and business work closely together toward shared goals. A Quality Advocate — You hold a high bar for stability and security — but you know how to achieve it without killing the pace of innovation. Why join Instabee? You won’t just be another employee here; you’ll be a builder. We offer the chance to sharpen your skills alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry. If you’re someone who sees an inefficient process and thinks, "I can make that better," you’re going to love it here. The Perks: 🌇 The Best View in Town Our Stockholm HQ offers a stunning 360-degree panorama. 🐶 Dog-Friendly Culture No need to leave your best friend at home; our furry friends have their own floor! 🏓 Unwind & Recharge Whether it's a competitive game of Foosball or a Karaoke solo, we take our fun seriously. 👶 Family First We support our new parents with six months of parental pay. 🎂 Birthday Gift Enjoy a fully paid day off to celebrate another trip around the sun. ⏰ Work-Life Harmony Hybrid working and flexible hours come as standard. The Journey So Far Instabee was born when two pioneers, Budbee and Instabox, joined forces. Today, we are on a mission to become the leading European e-commerce enabler.
