Om tjänsten

Skanska Group uses its knowledge and foresight to shape the way people live, work, and connect. We are one of the world’s largest

project development and construction companies, with 2025 revenue totaling SEK 179 billion. We operate across select markets in

the Nordics, Europe and USA. Together with our customers and the collective expertise of our approximately 25,900 teammates, we

create innovative and sustainable solutions that support healthy living beyond our lifetime.

At Skanska, every decision is guided by a commitment to people, communities, and future generations. We put health, safety, and

sustainability at the heart of our work, act with integrity and transparency, and foster an inclusive culture built on trust,

respect, and collaboration. By embracing diverse perspectives and working better together, we deliver innovative, sustainable

solutions with a strong customer-first mindset — creating long-term value for society and reshaping the future responsibly.

We are now looking for a Senior Sustainability Controller to join Group Sustainability Reporting at Skanska’s headquarters in

Stockholm.

Sustainability reporting is an integral part of Skanska’s Group reporting and is developing rapidly in response to new regulatory

requirements, higher expectations on data quality and an increased need for reliable analysis and performance follow-up. As part

of Group Function Finance Operations, you will work at the centre of that development, helping ensure that Skanska’s

sustainability reporting is relevant, robust and well-integrated with the Group’s wider reporting and governance.

About the role

As a Senior Sustainability Controller you will have a key role in developing and strengthening sustainability reporting across the

Skanska Group. You will combine strong analytical and controlling skills with a good understanding of data, reporting processes

and systems. The role offers broad exposure across the organization and the chance to combine hands-on work with continuous

improvement, helping shape the future of sustainability reporting at Skanska. The role goes beyond collecting and compiling data.

You will analyze sustainability performance, investigate trends and deviations and turn complex information into clear,

well-founded conclusions. You will contribute to internal and external reporting and help ensure that reporting meets relevant

regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

You will also play an important part in strengthening reporting processes, controls and data quality, as well as supporting the

continued development of the systems used for sustainability reporting. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues

across Group functions and Skanska’s business units in the Nordics, Europe and the USA.

You will join a team with high ambitions, working in a rapidly evolving area, with sustainability reporting becoming increasingly

integrated into Skanska’s wider reporting and governance. The work combines hands-on delivery with long-term development and

offers significant opportunities to influence how Skanska’s sustainability reporting evolves.

You will report to the Head of Sustainability Reporting.

About you

You have a university degree and at least eight years of relevant experience in controlling, financial reporting, auditing or a

similar field. You have experience in sustainability reporting and a strong understanding of reporting processes, governance,

internal controls, and data quality. You are comfortable working with complex data and have the analytical skills to understand

not only what the numbers show, but also what drives the development behind them. You have good knowledge of sustainability

reporting requirements and regulatory frameworks, including CSRD/ESRS and the EU Taxonomy. Experience with other relevant

sustainability reporting frameworks, developing reporting processes, system implementations or working in a large international

organization is an advantage.

As a person you are analytical, structured, and curious with the ability to see the bigger picture without losing attention to

detail. You are comfortable taking ownership, working independently and driving initiatives forward, also when forward is not

fully defined. You combine a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach with sound judgement and a high level of integrity.

Collaboration is important in this role. You build strong relationships across teams and functions and can communicate complex

matters in a clear and straightforward way to different stakeholders. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
