Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced System Architect to define and evolve a next-generation control and communication platform for advanced power system applications.

The role focuses on hardware, software, communication, and system integration, with high demands on availability, redundancy, scalability, and real-time performance. You will collaborate with project managers, software developers, electronics engineers, test teams, and other architects to deliver a robust, maintainable, and future-proof platform.

What You Will Work On

Define and maintain the overall system architecture.

Translate system requirements into technical solutions and interface definitions.

Drive architecture activities across hardware, software, and system integration.

Define redundancy and failover strategies to ensure high system availability.

Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs.

Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.

Ensure scalability, maintainability, and future extensibility.

Facilitate technical decisions across cross-functional development teams.

Balance technical constraints, future product requirements, and project objectives.

Several years of experience in system architecture or systems engineering.

Experience with distributed control systems.

Experience in embedded systems development.

Strong understanding of hardware and software integration.

Experience with EtherCAT, PROFINET, IEC 61850, or similar industrial communication networks.
