Test Engineer – Type Testing

We are currently looking for a Type Test Engineer to join a large international industrial company in Västerås. This role is a

good fit for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work in a laboratory environment and wants to develop their expertise within

testing, verification and type testing of technically complex products.

You will become part of an experienced test team, working closely with products, test equipment and other engineers. The position

is suitable both for recent graduates and for those who already have a few years of experience within testing, electronics or

product development.

As a Type Test Engineer, you will work with verification and type testing of electronic products and systems to ensure that they

function as intended and comply with relevant technical and regulatory requirements.

You will be working with technically complex products, which means that much of the product-specific knowledge will be built over

time. You will therefore have good opportunities to learn from more senior colleagues within the team.

Previous experience within testing, verification, measurement equipment or laboratory work is considered an advantage, but is not

a requirement.

Work setup: The position is primarily onsite, as a significant part of the work is carried out hands-on in a laboratory

environment.

Start date: By agreement

Language: English is the working language. Swedish is not required.

You will initially be employed by A-hub and work as a consultant at our client. After 12 months, the ambition is for the

employment to transition directly to the client, provided that the collaboration works well for both parties.
