state-of-the-art satellite propulsion systems. In this role, you will work hands-on with high-precision components, follow
established production processes, and ensure the highest quality standards in our Assembly, Integration & Verification (AIV)
environment. The position is part of a 2-shift operation with rotating shifts, offering a dynamic and collaborative workplace
where reliability, accuracy, and teamwork are essential.
Type of contract: Full-time position: 38.5 hours/week (2-shift operation)
Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 2.727,40 gross per month, with a planned significant overpayment
depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

In this role, you will help ensure that tools and technical equipment remain in good working condition through routine maintenance activities and basic troubleshooting. You will work closely with our production team, document maintenance activities and support spare parts management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of high-reliability electronic systems for spacecraft electric propulsion products. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, and you will ensure robust, compliant, and high-performance electrical architectures while driving continuous technical improvement and innovation. Key Responsibilities: * Design of circuits and PCBs for miniaturized high-voltage power supplies, including digital, analog, and high-voltage subsystems. * Perform reliability and worst-case analyses to ensure robust and high-performance operation. * Establish and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and design records. * Support EEE component selection, qualification, procurement, and coordination with external suppliers. * Develop test procedures, verification plans, and dedicated test setups. * Collaborate closely with the production team to prepare and optimize series production. * Interface with customers and contribute to technical discussions and reviews. * Work in an agile development environment in close cooperation with the engineering team. YOUR PROFILE * Academic education in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar. * Professional experience of 2-5 years related to high reliability electronics or 7+ years in digital and analog electronics design. * Understanding of and experience in the aerospace, automotive, rail, medical, nuclear or defense industry is required. * Experience with high reliability electronics and applicable standards. * Experience with electronics documentation and analysis. * Knowledge of DC/DC inverter topologies and magnetics (trafo and coil) sizing. * Experience in developing complete electronic unit considering mechanical and thermal constraints. * Microprocessor ATmega and ARM know-how. * Fluency in English (written and spoken). In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for our propulsion systems. You will work closely with hardware, systems, and testing teams to deliver reliable, high-performance software aligned with system requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: * Implement, verify and maintain embedded software modules in C/C++ for microcontrollers from requirements following coding standards. * Create and maintain Verification and Validation Plans. * Develop code and setups for unit tests. * Establish and maintain source code documentation (e.g. SDD). * Support system tests with data analysis. * Maintain configuration control of source code and artefacts. * Maintain and support production and testing tools (python). * Perform trouble shooting of failures as well as define and implement corrective actions.
