JOIN OUR TEAM As Junior Translation Specialist, you will be responsible for translating our product descriptions to Danish, as well as translating and proofreading the newsletter and texts that appear on our website, such as marketing texts or visual materials. Our department provides translations for all Westwing countries. This position requires precision and a detail-oriented mindset, taking into account the wider business perspective. We offer daily work with the language, great atmosphere in a team of young people from different countries and much more! This position is limited to 6 months and based in Warsaw or remotely in Poland. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Accurately translating and proofreading product descriptions, marketing copy, newsletters and other website content for the Westwing portfolio, ensuring linguistic precision and high quality * Preserving Westwing’s tone of voice and brand style to effectively engage and resonate with customers * Adapting content to the local market, cultural context and target audience while supporting the expansion of the Danish portfolio * Proofreading and editing translations to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, consistency and stylistic coherence * Conducting thorough quality checks of website content to ensure consistent terminology and language use across all platforms * Collaborating closely with other Westwing departments and headquarters on ongoing and upcoming linguistic projects * Managing multiple tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines under pressure, and leveraging AI tools and language technologies to continuously enhance translation quality YOU COME WITH * Excellent Danish skills (native level) * Very good command of English * Sound knowledge of linguistic and stylistic correctness * Experience with text editing and proofreading * An open-minded attitude and eagerness to work in an international team * Reliability and attention to detail WHY WESTWING If you are looking for a place where ambition meets creativity, where ideas turn into impact fast, and where people are trusted to grow - you have found it. Mission Brief You will maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade the control system of the Isar rocket engine test facility near Kiruna (Sweden). You will assume technical responsibility for both software and hardware elements of the control system. There will be close collaboration with the Isar Munich control systems team for work on both this facility, and other future projects. You will be involved in day-to-day test operations, and will work alongside Propulsion Test Engineers to operate the facility. It is expected that there will be a close connection to the other test engineers, and development of a deep understanding of facility systems and requirements. We are currently not conducting an active recruitment process for this position. However, we are building a talent pool and would be delighted to consider your profile for future opportunities.
