The Somincor TSF is in operation, but plans are being put in place to expand it to meet increased Lif of Mine storage requirement. You will therefore oversee design, construction, operation and the path to safe closure for the facilities. You will ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, including the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM). Your responsibilities include documenting engineering decisions, facilitating risk management implementation, reviewing and approving designs and construction documentation, and ensuring that monitoring and surveillance programs are implemented and effective. You will work closely with operations, environmental teams, senior leadership, as well as external consultants such as Designers of Record, third‑party reviewers, the Independent Tailings Review Board (ITRB), Independent Reviewers (IR), and regulatory authorities. You will also contribute to broader site-wide initiatives such as permitting, Life of Mine planning, and closure planning for the facilities. As part of the Sustainability staff, you will support the development of governance frameworks, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality documentation and reporting. This role is critical in ensuring safe and sustainable tailings management and directly supports Boliden’s commitment to responsible mining. What you bring A geotechnical or civil engineer with extensive experience in tailings and mine waste management or dam engineering. A strong background in geotechnical engineering, hydrology and dam safety, ideally with experience as Lead Designer, Designer of Record or Engineer of Record. Interim Responsible Value Chain Manager Are you a senior consultant with experience in due diligence, compliance and responsible value chains within metals and minerals? Would you like to contribute specialist expertise in an international industrial company where responsible business conduct, business ethics and regulatory compliance are business-critical matters? The role On behalf of our client Boliden, we are looking for an experienced Responsible Value Chain Manager for a one-year assignment. Strategically important and plays a central role in ensuring continuity, quality and regulatory compliance in Boliden’s work with due diligence and responsible business conduct in the global metals and minerals value chain. The role is placed within the sustainability function and reports to the Sustainability Manager. About the assignment The assignment will start in October and run for one year. The preferred location is Stockholm. Krav för tjänsten: Lång erfarenhet av mekanisk bearbetning (svarvning/fräsning). Goda kunskaper i mätteknik, ritningsläsning och materialkännedom. Erfarenhet av programmering. Svenskt medborgarskap Kontroll av straffrättsligt register kommer att genomföras i samband med anställning. Meriterande: Erfarenhet av styrsystemen Fanuc, Siemens eller Heidenhain. Uppgifter Vi söker nu en skicklig svetsare lokalt till Lyrestad. I rollen kommer du att arbeta med legotillverkning i olika materiel och tjocklekar. Fokus ligger på svetsning av fordonskomponenter, både manuell och robotsvetsning i framförallt rostfritt material. Du blir en del av en produktion där noggrannhet, kvalitet och yrkesskicklighet är i fokus. Egenskaper Vi söker dig som har erfarenhet av MIG/MAG-svetsning och trivs med att arbeta i verkstadsmiljö. Trivs med att arbeta självständigt men också i team.
