These are the different areas that you can explore: * Technical: Testing, improving and stress testing our systems to enhance the performance of our delivery across the tours. * Creative: Working closely with TV directors and external broadcasters to provide statistics and storytelling of insights across tennis matches during live broadcasts. * Operations: Reviewing, improving and strategising how we improve the efficiency of delivery across the globe. * Projects: On-site management of our service delivery across the globe. Liaising with external stakeholders to organise our technical requirements to be ready and sites to be prepared for our arrival, and to deliver our services to the deadline of the events. * Broadcast Production: Rigging and directing live TV broadcasts across the Masters 1000s ATP tour. 📋Responsibilities * Owner of our staffing process and communication, both internally and externally. * Maintain operational scheduling commitments and own the scheduling framework for tennis. * Lead planning and resourcing staff for Tennis events , establish strong operational teams based on service delivery requirements, to hand over to Project Managers for each event. * This includes coordinating with the SP Operations and Production Manager to ensure effective cross-utilisation of staff across both functions. * Own and improve processes for annual leave, work from home, T&D days & kit maintenance. Identify opportunities for process improvement. * Coordinate casual staff and work with HR to raise contracts & approve expenses. Alongside Operations team and tennis management team define strategies, delivery models and processes to drive consistent, high quality service delivery. * Work with Training and Development Manager / Lead, drive progression and development of new and existing staff through development pathways. * Regular coordination with Operations Managers across Tour Sports/regions to resource “external” staff creatively and efficiently. * Contribute to a sustainable working model to ensure that working commitments are balanced and practical, leading to increased operator experience and staff retention. * Active role in Operations team, supporting the Operations Manager in day to day tasks and working to establish robust processes for service delivery across a range of projects. 📝Expectations * Efficient and cost-effective planning of staffing movements. * Both calculating appropriate rig, operational and derig allocations of teams across our events. And the Iterative review of staffing efficacy across events, contributing to a streamlined operational model across the tours. * Quantitative analysis of staff utilisation, development and retention. * Cost and time efficiencies found through effective planning. * Implementation and management of staff development programs. * Increased efficiency of delivery, opening up wider opportunities for new event (i.e. Can we find an operational model where HE Live at Challenger Events becomes viable?). * Ability to confirm staffing capacity for event delivery long term when presented with new business opportunities. ⚒️Skills, Knowledge and Expertise * Problem solving mindset. * Ability to pivot when operational situations change. * Strong organisational skills, effective time management, and resilience. * Strong ability to liaise with Team Managers, Senior members of the team, Project Managers to plan and ensure that operations directives are achieved. * Displaying leadership qualities and relied upon for operational excellence. * Excellent communication both up and down the department. * Ability to show balance & reason. * Willingness to make decisions from a team and business point of view. With responsibilities overlapping both hardware support and system operations, you will play a central role in ensuring cohesion between these two pillars of the department. When onsite at tournaments, you won’t just contribute to the success of the event, you’ll also be leading the way in how we manage and deploy kit, helping to refine our build-out processes and create a more streamlined, integrated operation. Your time will be split between our Basingstoke HQ and international tennis event, with the balance depending on the operational demands of the tennis calendar. While the schedule will ebb and flow throughout the year, your flexibility and ability to adapt to the rhythm of the tour will be key. You will be part of the Tennis Operations Team, working closely with the Projects, Warehouse, and Logistics Teams. The Operations Team is responsible for planning, maintaining, and delivering the resources required to execute events at the highest possible standard, ensuring the right staff and equipment are in the right place at the right time. The Tennis Department manages over £2 million worth of equipment across 200+ flight cases, deployed globally. With more than 30 tons of equipment moving across continents, tennis is one of the most logistically complex departments in the company. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to ensuring that all equipment and related processes remain fit for purpose throughout the year, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic improvements. » What the job is all about The Hardware Support role will manage the various hardware and kit demands of the Tennis department. You will take a hands-on approach to deal with asset management and kit quirks as well as building and maintaining robust processes. You will split your time between the Basingstoke office and attending events throughout the year. THE ROLE The Stores Manager is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and secure management of all materials within the company’s stores function. This includes overseeing goods-in, material handling, storage, consumables, component traceability, and kitting activities to support PCB assembly, box build, and other EMS manufacturing operations. The role ensures materials flow smoothly through the business, supporting production schedules, minimising shortages, and maintaining full compliance with quality, traceability, and health and safety standards. Stock & Inventory Management * Maintain accurate stock levels of electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, and consumables, ensuring full batch/lot traceability. * Manage and optimise storage systems (FIFO, LIFO, moisture-sensitive device handling, ESD compliance, etc.). * Conduct regular cycle counts and support annual stock takes, investigating and resolving discrepancies. * Monitor and reduce excess/obsolete stock in coordination with procurement and planning teams. * Ensure correct handling and storage of Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSD) in accordance with IPC/JEDEC standards. Goods-In & Material Handling * Oversee goods-in processes, including inspection, verification, booking-in, and rejection/return handling. * Work closely with Quality to resolve non-conforming material issues. * Ensure all incoming stock is processed efficiently to support production demand. Kitting & Production Support * Oversee and improve the kitting process for SMT and Through-Hole production lines, ensuring kits are complete, accurate, and ready on time. * Work closely with Production, Planning, and Engineering to ensure material availability for build schedules. * Support fast-turn/prototype builds with efficient material handling. Despatch * Oversee all despatch activities to ensure finished goods are packed, labelled, and shipped accurately and on time. * Ensure correct documentation is produced for UK, EU, and international shipments (commercial invoices, packing lists, export labels, courier manifests, etc.). * Liaise with customers, couriers, and internal teams to confirm delivery requirements and ensure on-time despatch. * Maintain packaging standards for PCBs, electronics assemblies, and sensitive equipment (ESD-safe, anti-static, moisture protection). * Ensure full traceability of shipped product with correct serial, batch, or date-code records. * Manage despatch scheduling to meet customer deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Systems & Reporting * Manage all stores-related activity through the company’s ERP/MRP system. * Produce reports on inventory accuracy, shortages, stock movements, and KPI performance. * Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on material flow, accuracy, and efficiency. Leadership & Team Management * Lead, train, and develop the stores team to ensure high performance and compliance with procedures. * Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the stores function. * Ensure adequate staffing levels to support production schedule demands. Compliance, Safety & Quality * Ensure stores and handling processes meet ISO9001, AS9100 (if applicable), and customer-specific traceability requirements. * Uphold ESD, MSD, and general handling best practices. * Ensure the workplace is safe, tidy, and compliant with UK health and safety regulations. ABOUT YOU Essential * Previous experience in a Stores/Warehouse/Despatch management role * Strong knowledge of traceability, and manufacturing material flows. * Experience using ERP/MRP systems for stock control and despatch. * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. * Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills. Desirable * Previous experience in a Stores/Warehouse/Despatch management role within an EMS, electronics, or manufacturing environment. * Knowledge of ESD and electronic component handling. * Familiarity with IPC/JEDEC standards and MSD handling. * Experience in export/shipping compliance and courier platforms. * Lean/5S/continuous improvement experience. * Experience supporting SMT/TH production environments.
