And it’s the reality NavVis empowers people to build better.    THE OPPORTUNITY Can you imagine diving into the development of the software and components for and around our innovative mobile indoor mapping system, operated by companies in more than 25 countries worldwide?  You will join the Mapping and Perception department and collaborate closely with people from a diverse set of cultural and professional backgrounds, who share a passion for delivering top-class mapping solutions that aim to digitize physical spaces through the creation of photorealistic digital twins.     HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT * You will be at the forefront of building, testing, improving, and maintaining the software and processes to calibrate our Mobile Mapping Systems (MMS)  * You will be deeply involved in the full life-cycle of the calibration process from ideation to the roll-out into production  * You will collaborate closely with our production and hardware teams to identify, escalate, and resolve issues with our calibration processes and tools  * You will have a key responsibility of creating, maintaining, and improving the technical documentation for calibration  * Monitor and enhance data quality through improved calibration procedures    WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE * A Master's degree or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar  * At least 3+ years of experience in the field of calibration of sensors in general and ideally experience with sensors and sensor models for cameras, laser scanners / LIDARs and IMUs  * You have expertise in C++ development and related tools in a professional context as well as good coding skills in Python  * Experience with C++ Libraries like Boost, Eigen, OpenCV (Ceres, ROS, PCL as optional)  * You are proficient in using Linux and the command line  * Experience in modeling and solving hard optimization problems, especially around the geometry of 2D / 3D correspondences   * Your passion for data quality and improving processes as well as workflows will be useful throughout the calibration process    HOW WE WILL KNOW WE ARE A PERFECT MATCH Your recruiting partner for this role is Rina (she/her). Its portfolio of international clients spans a wide range of end markets including financial services, telecommunications, travel & mobility, gaming, and other industries.   This position is based in Rennes, France.   We are looking for a hands-on QA Automation Engineer who can strengthen our product quality across Web, API, and Mobile platforms. In this role, you will build and maintain automated tests, validate end-to-end workflows, and support the stability of customer-facing integrations. You will collaborate with developers, embedded QA engineers, and platform teams to ensure releases meet customer expectations.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AUTOMATION * Develop and maintain automated test suites for Web, Mobile (Appium), and Backend API flows. * Implement integration tests across microservices using mocks, stubs, and reference backservers. * Contribute to end-to-end automation of real customer workflows. * Ensure repeatability, scalability, and stability of automated tests. CI/CD & TOOLING * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. * Maintain test reporting and monitoring dashboards. * Contribute to test data setup and staging environment readiness. COLLABORATION * Work closely with developers, embedded QAs, Product Owners, and DevOps. * Engage early in feature development to identify risks and testability concerns. * Support continuous improvement of automation and testing practices.   PREFERRED EXPERIENCE * 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with similar responsibilities. * Strong experience with Python. * Experience with Selenium / Playwright for web automation. * Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation. * Strong REST API testing using Python requests. * Knowledge of microservices and integration testing. * CI/CD exposure and understanding of pipeline stages. * Strong debugging mindset (logs, tracing, network calls). * Self-driven, proactive, and hands-on. * Strong debugging and analytical mindset. * Capable of owning automation tasks end-to-end. * Comfortable across backend, web, and mobile automation. * Fluent English and working proficiency in French is required. You'll work with industry-standard tools, build your own test setups, and enhance our automation framework. To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg. In this role, you will work with technologies such as 4G, LTE, Transport networking, TCP/UDP, VoIP, and Video/IP protocols across various cloud platforms (Docker/Kubernetes).
