ABOUT THIS ROLE We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer (f/m/x) with a strong frontend foundation to join our growing team. You'll be primarily working in React/TypeScript on internal-facing applications that are vital to empowering our teams - but you won't stop at the frontend. You'll own features end-to-end, reaching into the backend when needed to ship complete, production-ready solutions. These applications play a pivotal role in how we protect customers at scale, and your work will directly shape the experience of the people delivering that protection. You'll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, translating business needs into resilient solutions, and mentoring others to adopt best practices. This is a unique opportunity to influence both our technology stack and our engineering culture. WHAT YOU WILL DO * Design and develop features that deliver real-world value. * Turn high-level goals into actionable technical plans without close supervision. * Make informed trade-offs across technical complexity, ROI, user impact, and time-to-market. * Deliver outcomes that impact product and business metrics, not just technical outputs. * Contribute to team culture by sharing knowledge and raising engineering standards. * Advocate for clarity when the “why” is unclear, keeping the team focused on the most valuable problems. * Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. WHAT YOU NEED * 4+ years of development experience with a strong emphasis on React and TypeScript - this is your primary domain. You're comfortable with component design, state management, and building polished, performant UIs. * Backend exposure in a strongly typed language (Go, Java, .NET, PHP, or similar). You don't need to be a backend specialist, but you're not afraid to touch an API, write a service, or debug an infrastructure issue when the feature calls for it. We operate in Go on the backend and believe a strong engineer with solid fundamentals can get up to speed quickly. * Proven ability to take initiative, solve complex problems, and deliver in ambiguous environments. * Knowledge of APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred). * Experience with CI/CD practices. * Strong engineering skills with an analytical mindset and product awareness, making decisions that deliver the greatest impact. * Comfortable using AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow, and curious about how AI can improve how we build. * Knowledge of secure coding practices and understanding of secure development principles to building safe, trusted systems * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Fluency in English is a must * The role is remote in the Netherlands or in Berlin, but you commit to traveling to the office (The Hague or Berlin) twice per week. WHAT WE OFFER * A meaningful mission: protect organizations across Europe from real-world cyber threats * A young and thriving scale-up which is on its way to becoming the category leader in Europe. * Work with top-tier professionals from national CERTs, intelligence agencies, and leading tech backgrounds * A remote-friendly culture with quarterly meetups and annual company retreats (in Spain, Portugal, Italy…) * A great place to work, filled with people who enjoy working together. * A generous time-off policy, including wellbeing and volunteering days Even if you dont tick all the boxes, we encourage you to apply!
