As a Deal Desk Specialist at Sonar, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of our business and how we support our sales teams.
In this role, you will partner with our sales teams daily with a core focus on driving deal velocity, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and helping to establish a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise and strategic insights will be key in optimizing the sales process while functioning as a hub for all deal activity that will impact Sonar’s quote to cash (Q2C) operations.
This role will also have an impact on key metrics that support Sonar’s business goals and objectives and will play an essential part in maintaining streamlined processes and facilitating successful business outcomes.

Serve as the advisor for APAC region for deal booking and commercial approvals, ensuring compliance with pricing policies, approval frameworks, and company guidelines. Review commercial contracts for accuracy and risk, provide timely support to Sales on deal configuration and CRM processes, and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Product teams to resolve non-standard commercial requirements. Monitor deal pipelines and reporting to identify and remediate discrepancies, advise on complex strategic deals, and provide cross-regional deal desk support to ensure business continuity and efficient deal execution.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Commercial Negotiation Specialist to oversee and streamline our commercial review and management processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all commercial contracts are reviewed efficiently, risks are identified and escalated, and internal stakeholders are supported with clear guidance and tools. This role will report to the company’s Global Commercial Strategy Leader, also located in Brazil, and serve as the primary point of contact for business-related commercial matters globally. The ideal candidate has strong experience in pricing and deal desk, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to balance legal risk with business priorities. In this role, you will: * Own and drive pricing strategy and deal structuring, ensuring alignment with company goals, margins, and market positioning. * Review and approve commercial proposals, validating pricing, discounts, and contract terms in line with internal policies. * Lead renewals and renegotiations, identifying opportunities to optimize revenue, improve contract terms, and increase customer lifetime value. * Act as a key partner to Sales, supporting complex deals with financial modeling, scenario building, and strategic guidance. * Manage the deal approval process end-to-end, including intake, validation, stakeholder alignment, and final sign-off. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations to ensure deals are structured efficiently and executed smoothly. * Support the development and optimization of pricing guidelines, approval workflows, and internal tools. *For this position you are required to attend the office 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday), and remote work on Friday. WHO YOU ARE * Background in Business, Finance, Economics,, or a related field (ecommerce/ SaaS background is a plus). * With excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills in English. * With advanced proficiency in English.
