The Operations team at Flow Traders provides support during the life cycle of a trade, creates reconciliations, and develops reporting. It is also the responsibility of the team to identify, assess, respond, and monitor various risks to the firm. The Firm has an expanding set of products covering all major asset classes. The team continuously seeks opportunities to automate its workflows and processes, develop new ways to monitor and track data, and communicate key performance indicators of the department.   What you will do * Trade matching, booking, and settlement reconciliation * Manage counterparty onboarding and operational relationships * Monitor pending OTC settlements * Perform real-time and T+1 reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete record keeping and trading positions * Prepare complete and accurate trade and transaction reporting * Prepare and report market making obligations statistics * Position/PnL/Cost reconciliation * Maintain ownership of critical data and perform checks to confirm data is complete and accurate * Develop new operational tools * Draft data requirements for current and new business initiatives * Liaise with Trading, Business Development, IT, and Compliance to solve problems and create solutions * Collaborate on projects aimed at advancing interdepartmental coordination and global business initiatives   What you need to succeed * At least 2 years of experience in Financial Operations * Experience in Digital Assets, a plus * Undergraduate degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, or related field * Working/Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on identifying and resolving root causes * Ability to work independently and responsibly within company policies and guidelines * Demonstrated ability to develop or build scalable process improvements * Proven analytical skills and the ability to assess complex situations quickly under pressure * Strong interest in financial markets and trading * Self-starter with a proactive and adaptable mindset * SIE, required * Series 7, preferred   At Flow Traders, we acknowledge the importance of open and transparent communication whether it be with our employees, our stakeholders, or our local and global communities. This role will support Portfolio and Asset Management activities and will be responsible for NAV oversight, cash management, client reporting, & Profit & Loss (PnL) analysis. Possessing excellent communication and administrative skills, the Analyst will be responsible for a significant portion of the day-to-day operations support and managing relationships with our operations counterparts at our clients & external counterparties. Responsibilities: * Assisting in the direction and administration of operations and processes for our funds. * Check and process all cash management and payment processing activities including, margin calls, loan closings, drawdowns, paydowns, & interest payments. * Ensure the quality and effectiveness of the pricing governance and controls are maintained through identification and mitigation of pricing risks and the communication/documentation of any enhancements to the framework. Ensure relevant information is incorporated in the valuation of the investments and that valuations are reflective of fair value. * Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) of funds on a daily, weekly and monthly basis including checking accrued income and expenses. Provision of intra-NAV estimates to the Asset Managers/Clients when requested. * Liaise with the fund administrator/s to reconcile final fund NAVs and monitor deliverables against service levels. * Work with team members to develop and deliver client reporting, respond to client queries and assist the wider business where necessary * Oversight of changes to incentive/performance fees, management fees, and any other fee structures in scope * Responsible for the account setup and daily reconciliation of transactions ensuring accuracy of the entries generated. * Responsible for service provider relationships including but not limited to, fund administration, loan administration, banking, auditors, valuation agents, etc. * Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and monthly investor reports. * Actively monitor risk by identifying trends and potential issues with operational controls to improve the control environment and drive efficiencies. * Taking a proactive and innovative approach to enhancing processes and maintaining internal policies and procedures manuals. Key Skills & Experience: * 0-3 years experience in accounting or audit experience e.g. Real Estate Debt, Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds * Excellent Microsoft skills (power point, excel and word) * Strong communication skills, strong business knowledge and ability to multitask * High levels of pro-activity, organization, and self-motivation * A team player, with the ability to work collaboratively, who is also comfortable to take individual ownership   The anticipated based salary range for this position is listed below. As part of this integration, we are expanding our Investment and Data Implementation (IDI) team, which has supported AHL for many years, into a new Boston-based team supporting the Man Numeric business. The global IDI team spans Hong Kong, Sofia, London and now Boston. The Boston team is responsible for implementing all new business and portfolios (funds, Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), and investment strategies), maintaining the integrity of systematic models, and steering the long-term development of our trading initiatives. The team is the primary responder when production issues halt the investment managers, requiring rapid diagnosis and resolution without introducing new risks. The team are the operational architects who translate a researcher’s ideal strategy or portfolio into a robust, scalable solution, balancing speed, resilience, and business logic. The team also works closely with other areas such as Portfolio Management and Trading to explain why an algorithm and portfolio optimizer generated specific trades. THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated professional to bridge quantitative research, portfolio management, technology, trading, and middle & back-office teams. The analyst will partner with portfolio managers on the day-to-day operations of portfolio management, and collaborate with researchers, engineering, trading, and Man Group operations to ensure portfolios are managed accurately and our investment management infrastructure runs as intended. Time-sensitive daily production tasks are managed via a team rota, allowing off-rota time to be protected for deep-dive project work, coordinating complex fund and SMA launches, data analysis, prototyping new tooling and processes, and building out the team's AI capability. You will operate with a high level of autonomy. Our goal is to build your knowledge of the entire systematic investment management process (from Equity Long Only and Equity Market Neutral, Fixed Income to Multi-Strategy and Global Macro) and the investment philosophy driving Systematic, empowering you to identify challenges, evaluate solutions, and deliver improvements and innovation independently. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio implementation: * Implement high-impact, real-time changes to the investment management and trading environment, including rolling out new quantitative research, launching new products, managing client and other constraints, and refitting existing products and strategies. * Orchestrate and coordinate the investment process for new fund and complex SMA launches, ensuring clear ownership across front-office and central functions Portfolio operations: * Design and implement the new operating model for Equity Market Neutral, Equity Long Only and Fixed Income for IDI Boston * Perform daily portfolio monitoring, manage compliance/constraint updates, and facilitate pre-trade order vetting alongside Portfolio Managers * Manage and coordinate daily client flows (rebalancing, allocations) in close collaboration with Portfolio Managers * Act as primary responder for production and trading issues across the systematic investment management estate and portfolio construction environment, leveraging smart tooling and, increasingly, AI and agentic workflows to diagnose root causes and execute manual workarounds for timely risk management Implementation analytics and improvement: * Actively embrace and build AI skills and agentic workflows to pull relevant context, provide smart monitoring, and drive self-healing capabilities within the production system * Work alongside peers across Systematic to define and deliver resilient trading system and platform development * Use data analytics (Python/SQL/Pandas) to investigate complex scenarios — from simulating market restrictions to analysing exchange limit utilisation to validating strategy refits against production baselines * Develop implementation analytics to provide commercial insights for the business SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES The role relies on strong attention to detail, analytical judgement, and strong stakeholder management.
