Flatpay has become one of Europe's fastest-growing payment companies by helping merchants accept card payments in-store.
Our Point of Sale system serves as the central engine of the business. It streamlines the merchant's entire workflow — from order
taking, product and inventory management, to payment processing, reporting, and compliance.
devices. No least manage synchronicity across multiple POS systems at shared locations in realtime.
that enables merchants to optimize their business and comply with local tax regulations.
As our merchants grow, so does the platform. Every new market introduces new payment methods, fiscal requirements and merchant
needs. Every new feature increases the depth and complexity of the product. And with our customer base doubling approximately
every six months, the demands on scalability, reliability and performance continue to grow.
This is a hands-on engineering role with significant ownership. You'll influence technical direction, contribute to architectural
decisions and solve the engineering challenges that come with building one of Europe's fastest-growing commerce platforms.
As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll contribute far beyond implementation. You'll help shape technical direction while remaining
deeply involved in building products. You'll work closely with Product, Design and fellow engineers to build software that scales
across all dimensions: more merchants, more markets, more capabilities and increasingly sophisticated workflows.
utilizes real–time communication via AWS MQTT.
We're looking for experienced engineers who enjoy solving difficult problems and helping others succeed.
You'll be working with the following technologies; we don't expect experience with every technology listed; we're looking for
engineers who can learn quickly and help us build great products.
As part of our team, you'll join 2,000+ passionate Flatpayers dedicated to shaping the future of payments.
You'll help build a strategic new business area from the ground up, working on products that directly connect merchants and
consumers while shaping the future of online payments at Flatpay.
We offer an inclusive environment where engineers are trusted with ownership and encouraged to make an impact.
Our engineering teams work together from our Copenhagen office. We believe that close collaboration, quick feedback loops, and
solving problems side-by-side help us build better products, move faster, and create a stronger engineering culture.
We also provide plenty of perks including free slush ice, an on-site gym, a fully equipped gamer room, and much more.
If you're ready to help build and scale the future of payments, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE JOB At Flatpay, we're building products that make running a business simpler. Thousands of merchants rely on our payment solutions every day. As we continue expanding our POS offering, we're looking for a Senior Product Manager who can turn complex merchant needs into products that are intuitive, reliable, and commercially impactful. We're now scaling aggressively across Europe and investing heavily in product. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a backlog from a distance. We need a product leader who enjoys spending time with customers, challenging assumptions, making difficult prioritization decisions, and working closely with engineers, designers, commercial teams, and leadership to shape the future of our POS platform. WHAT YOU'LL DO You'll own a meaningful slice of our POS product - the software that runs the front of house for thousands of restaurants, cafés, retail stores, and salons across Europe - and be accountable for delivering outcomes, not just features. Our merchants are not procurement teams at large enterprises. They're owner-operators. That means the bar for usability, reliability, and clarity is brutally high — a confusing settings menu or a slow checkout flow costs them real sales on a Friday night. You'll spend real time in those venues, not just in Figma. Your work will include: * Defining and driving product strategy for POS solutions across multiple merchant segments * Sit with merchants and watch them work. Learn the difference between what they say in interviews and what they actually do on a busy Friday lunch. Bring those insights back into the roadmap * Translating customer insights, business objectives, and technical constraints into clear product direction * Understand the critical merchant value and plan the MVP rather than big deliveries * Working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions at pace * Using data, customer feedback, and market insights to evaluate product performance and guide decisions * Helping establish product management best practices as Flatpay continues to scale WHO YOU ARE We're less interested in whether you've worked with a specific framework and more interested in how you think and operate. We hope you are comfortable operating in a hyper-growth environment where the org chart and the roadmap both move fast. You likely bring: * 6+ years of product management experience in software, fintech, payments, POS, SaaS, or a similarly complex domain * Background launching products 0->1 and 1->10 into multiple European markets * The ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity for teams around you * Experience working with cross-functional product development teams * Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences * A data-informed mindset without becoming data-dependent * Strong commercial instinct. You think about adoption, revenue, and unit economics, not just feature usage * Willingness to spend time in the field with merchants across our markets Bonus points if you have experience with: * Payments or acquiring * Point-of-sale systems * Merchant-facing products * Omnichannel commerce * Subscription or transaction-based business models * Familiarity with Android-based payment hardware (PAX, Ingenico, or similar) WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE After your 3 months, you have: * Built deep knowledge of merchant needs and operational realities across multiple markets * Established a clear product direction in a collaboration with other PMs and Product Director * Built deep knowledge of Flatpay product offering and identify gaps * Delivered meaningful improvements that merchants actively value * Created strong partnerships across product, engineering, design, commercial teams, and leadership * Contributed to a stronger product culture across Flatpay WHY FLATPAY? We're building in a market where reliability matters, customer expectations evolve quickly, and product decisions have a direct impact on real businesses. You'll join a company with ambitious growth plans, short decision-making paths, and the opportunity to influence products used every day by merchants across Europe. If you're excited by solving real-world problems, working closely with customers, and building products that combine software, payments, and commerce, we'd love to hear from you.
By harnessing the power of technology and social behaviour, we have created a personalisation-powered, community-driven e-commerce platform with more than 75 million community members. We are looking for an iOS Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of the mobile experience, using an AI-first mindset to build features that help millions of users find their next favourite bottle with a single scan. Building the future of the Vivino iOS experience As our iOS Engineer, you will design, build, and ship high-quality features that define the mobile wine experience for millions. Based in our Copenhagen HQ and reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be a key driver in our fast-paced company, helping us move beyond traditional development to embrace agentic engineering. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of a feature—from initial architectural discussions to the final production release. Success in this role looks like a seamless blend of high-performance Swift code and cutting-edge AI features (like our "Sommelier") that make the app faster, smarter, and more intuitive for our global community. * Write clean, maintainable Swift code and contribute to architectural decisions that ensure app scalability and performance. * Actively use and experiment with AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot to amplify your productivity and delivery speed. * Work in cross-functional squads with Designers and Data teams to align technical solutions with user needs. * Directly contribute to building and refining AI-powered product features that revolutionise how users interact with wine. * Participate in code reviews and the iOS chapter to evolve our technical standards and mentor others. Curious, proactive, and excited about using AI to rethink how we build products and how we work as engineers Even if you do not feel you meet every single technical requirement listed below, we encourage you to apply if you have a passion for mobile development and a desire to learn. We are looking for a developer who excels at analysing problems and thrives on structuring concepts into robust mobile architectures. You take pride in delivering results through clean code. Still, you also understand the importance of relating to people and colleagues to ensure that technical decisions serve the broader product goal. You are naturally curious, collaborative, and supportive, and you view AI not just as a tool but as a fundamental shift in how great software is built. You are a mobile specialist who understands the unique pace of high-growth marketplace environments. Furthermore, we would imagine experience levels as follows: * Strong experience with Swift and modern iOS best practices, including proficiency in SwiftUI and UIKit. * A deep understanding of MVVM or similar patterns, with the ability to navigate existing codebases (including the occasional dive into legacy Objective-C). * Proven curiosity or experience in using AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to improve development workflows and experimentation. * Previous experience scaling products in e-commerce, mobile apps, or marketplaces is highly preferred. More specifically, you will be responsible for the following: * Lead the end-to-end design process, from ideation to execution, across new and existing features, always in service of clear user goals. * Explore, prototype, and ship new functionality, running experiments to learn quickly and improve what we build. * Create and refine product flows that strengthen the connection between free and premium users, helping them understand Vivino's value at every stage. * Translate complex data, behavioural insights, and research findings into clear, emotionally resonant, and measurable product experiences that create meaningful outcomes. * Produce high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate both technical functionality and narrative intent. * Participate in design critiques, sharing constructive feedback and helping raise the overall craft, impact, and clarity of Vivino's product design. You are user-first, designing with deep empathy and a holistic understanding of user behaviour and motivation. You are curious and excited about how AI is changing the way we build products, not just as a tool you use, but as a way to work faster and smarter. As a passionate designer, you bring clarity, emotion, and a compelling narrative to every product interaction. Furthermore, we would think you can demonstrate the following: * Experience designing consumer digital products, including shipping native iOS and Android apps. * Demonstrated success designing for complex user flows within freemium, subscription, or loyalty-based products. * A strong professional portfolio showcasing UX/UI excellence and clear evidence of measurable business or engagement impact. * Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools. * Familiarity with user testing, interviews, experimentation, and A/B testing — and a track record of using what you learn to inform design iteration. * Curiosity about using AI to explore ideas, prototype faster, and evolve design systems — hands-on experience designing AI-powered user experiences is a plus.
