About the role We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Fintech Group, Core Payments Team. Our group builds and scales the infrastructure that powers every transaction on DoorDash International. This includes integrating with global payment providers, ensuring reliable and cost-efficient processing across 30+ countries, and driving innovations like digital wallets, installment payments, and localized methods. The team owns the foundations of this stack, ensuring that Wolt and Deliveroo’s payments platform is secure, scalable, and future-ready. What you'll be doing You would be connecting with country teams to understand the payment landscape in local markets, facilitating business and technical discussions with providers, and aligning with product, finance, and data teams on company-wide needs. As a product manager, you will work with a cross-functional team of incredibly talented engineers, analysts, and product peers in a high-visibility role. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap and setting the vision for our payments infrastructure. This involves leading multiple projects and cross-team product initiatives throughout the entire product lifecycle, partnering with operations, finance, and engineering stakeholders, while always keeping the end user and business impact in focus. Requirements You could come to this role from a multitude of different backgrounds, but ideally, you have: * Proven experience as a Product Manager in Fintech, Payments, or other B2B platform products. You know how to build robust, scalable financial systems. * Track record of leading products from concept to launch; owning the vision, setting the strategy, shaping the roadmap, and delivering real results. * Skilled at working with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data, and business, keeping people aligned and momentum strong. * High ownership mindset. Comfortable getting hands-on when needed, while also pushing complex initiatives beyond your immediate scope. * Strong blend of data fluency, technical depth, design intuition, and business judgment, grounded in a humble, entrepreneurial mindset. * Confident in high-visibility roles. Clear communicator who knows how to keep stakeholders aligned, even in messy or high-pressure situations. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our London team. In this role, you’ll lead, build, and grow teams of world-class engineers, taking responsibility for their technical execution and impact through ambiguity as we scale. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers across various platforms. You will report to a Senior Engineering Manager or Engineering Director, helping to shape the future of our three-sided marketplace. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: * Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary team of Backend, iOS, Android, and Web engineers, fostering a diverse and high-achieving environment. * Drive technical and product strategy by setting clear project goals, guiding implementation choices, and ensuring your team hits group-level metrics. * Champion a learning culture through active mentorship, helping engineers and emerging leaders accelerate their careers. * Scale our engineering practices by implementing processes and values that improve team efficiency and code quality. * Maintain technical engagement by contributing to code reviews and technical design, ensuring the health and observability of your team's systems. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others: * Significant experience in people management, with at least 2 years spent leading engineering teams through performance reviews and goal setting. * A strong technical background as a Software Engineer, with a proven ability to build user-focused products at pace. * Demonstrated success in team building, including hiring, onboarding, and supporting the personal growth of colleagues. * Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, managing both local and remote engineers to deliver high-impact projects. * Experience collaborating across disciplines, working closely with Product, Design, and Operations to influence the broader roadmap.
