We're a team of ~35 in London/Europe, starting a new office in San Francisco and we're growing fast.
You’ll be Apollo’s second full-time Finance hire. You’ll work with our Senior Finance Manager to execute the day-to-day engine that keeps Apollo running and convert business activity into consistent, trusted numbers for management and investors. You'd be able to help build a finance team from the ground up at a company tackling one of the most important problems of our time.
As our finance team develops, you’ll have the chance to focus on Controllership or FP&A, taking on more responsibility based on your interests and strengths.

What this role covers As we grow, I'm building out the People Ops function and looking for someone to join starting Q3 2026. This is a generalist role with a focus on People Ops: hiring, HR systems and overall process improvement. Particularly, you'd have autonomy to shape our talent outreach strategy through e.g. events, hackathons, conferences and our employer branding. This will extend into creating the best onboarding experience. There is an ambitious target to grow the team by at least 50% and this role will be a key driver of that. As a lean team, there also a ambitious AI enablement thread where we think hard about how to use tools and systems well. You'll be expected to use AI to move faster and reduce manual overhead. This role will involve a lot of relationship building, a genuine care and appreciation for candidates and their experience. You'll be interacting and closely supporting a technical workforce of researchers and engineers. Who I'm looking for 2+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, operations, or adjacent work or someone earlier in their career who has run something significant for example, a student society or large events. You'd need a track record of having to figure things out without a playbook. You'd need to be comfortable operating in a face-paced environment with autonomy and judgment, without perfect information. You are comfortable using AI tools and use them to draft, summarise, research, and automate. Strong candidates may come from a high-performing tech start ups, scale ups or consultancy firms. London-based strongly preferred. There is flexible working hours and wfh arrangements. What's on offer The intent is for the right person to move into a larger scope and take on more complex, cross-jurisdictional projects (UK, US, Europe) over time. You'd be working directly with me and the rest of the Ops team consisting of (COO, Senior Finance Manager, Operation Generalist) across everything. Role: Lead Engineer - Commercial Systems Department: Operations Reports into: VP of Commercial Operations Location: London, UK (hybrid) ROLE SUMMARY We’re looking for a Lead Engineer to take ownership of developing and optimizing our user-facing commercial platform. This platform is at the heart of how customers interact with our products, so you’ll have a big impact on shaping both user experience and business operations. You’ll be joining our Commercial Operations team, while collaborating heavily with the wider engineering team, finance, sales and operations. Together, you’ll develop and deliver a system that evolves alongside our customers’ and business’s changing needs. We’re looking for an engineer with a strong proficiency in our technology stack that can hit the ground running and is passionate about building successful products or systems. The role will be a mix of hands-on development and project management. You need to be able to translate the business vision into code and interact with a wider group of stakeholders. You’ll be comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces; you’ll have excellent attention to detail; and you’ll be comfortable with new technologies and systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Act as a project manager for the various releases; communicate timelines to key stakeholders, advise on the roadmap, define best practice, etc. * Manage and mentor junior developers * Build and maintain APIs, services, and systems through multiple platforms, languages and technologies * Build scalable and robust backend solutions leveraging proper database optimizations * Build and maintain Vue controls and components to expose functionality to end users * Coordinate with other developers, UX designers and data engineers to ensure successful delivery of key milestones * Work heavily with other development teams within the organization to lend your expertise to other company applications * Review other developers code and pull requests, including code reviews and quality assurance testing * Assist the Support team members in customer inquiries, solving and troubleshooting problems and responding to support requests both internally and externally * Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and deployments where necessary * Be able to take a feature and break it down into manageable tasks for implementation REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * 5+ years software dev experience (ideally with some experience through a full product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment). * Project management experience and Product-minded: ability to think about the why and not just the how. * Strong proficiency in Vue on the frontend * Strong proficiency in Django and/or Laravel on the backend * Proven experience building integrations with existing business systems and processes (ideally Stripe, Salesforce, Netsuite, or similar and licensing management systems) * Experience leading and/or mentoring junior developers * Comfortable with legacy systems, including SOAP * Experience/willingness to use AI tools like Claude Code to improve productivity without impacting quality * JIRA, GitHub, ProductBoard or other project management tracking and ticketing tools * Git source control including proficiency with branches, pull requests, and code reviews * Strong REST understanding and implementation experience, servicing public and private APIs, including OpenAPI spec and documentation * Exposure to standard AWS based product stacks, and associated secondary tooling for documentation, testing and deployments NICE TO HAVE * Basic design/UX sensibility * Nuxt.js * Tailwind CSS * Experience or familiarity in the live events, film, production, or entertainment industries About Disguise Disguise is the industry-leading platform sitting at the heart of a new era of visual experiences. AI ENABLEMENT Lead Location: London (preferred) or Amsterdam Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Role Overview The AI Enablement Lead will drive Systemiq’s internal adoption of AI through training, capability building, tool deployment, and coordination across the organisation. This role focuses on: * Building AI fluency and confidence across all teams * Owning the internal roadmap for AI tools and use cases * Supporting platforms in identifying and prioritising AI opportunities * Ensuring AI becomes part of everyday work at Systemiq This is not a technical AI development or commercial sales role. The purpose is to help Systemiq’s people use AI effectively, safely, and at scale. Key Responsibilities AI Enablement, Training & Capability Building * Lead an internal cross-functional AI Champions programme, building a strong internal community * Design and deliver AI training for advisory and operations teams across all levels (associates, managers, directors/leadership) * Develop playbooks, learning pathways, and use-case guides * Shape a culture of responsible experimentation and everyday AI use * Partner with the Academy to embed AI capability into formal learning programmes AI Roadmap & Tool Deployment * Own the internal AI tool roadmap in partnership with IT * Prioritise high-impact use cases and guide pilots and scale implementation of use case adoption with new and existing AI tools * Gather requirements from teams, translate into IT specifications * Ensure tools meet standards for safety, privacy, and responsible use Platform Support & Coordination * Work with platform leadership to identify AI opportunities * Help connect use cases, learnings and best practices across teams * Maintain visibility of AI activities and progress across the business * Provide light-touch strategic input to support platform-led AI mobilisation Collaboration & Governance * Work closely with IT, Academy, Analytiq, and Knowledge teams * Support the COO with updates, reporting, and continuous improvement * Ensure governance, safe use, and consistency in AI adoption across Systemiq What This Role Is Not This role does not include: * Building technical AI solutions * Selling AI offerings or leading BD * Leading client-facing AI product development * Developing models, tools or platforms (owned by Analytiq) Skills & Experience Core Requirements * Strong experience in capability building, digital adoption or change management * 4–6+ years of relevant experience in AI enablement, digital transformation, change management, technology adoption, or related fields * Excellent communicator and trainer; able to simplify complex concepts * Strong understanding of modern AI tools (LLMs, agents, workflow tools) * Experience partnering across functions (IT, L&D, analytics, business teams) * Ability to create structure, prioritise, and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment * Degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as technology, digital transformation, analytics, sustainability, business, or related disciplines.
